First impressions
Quality packaging, 2 day delivery, very nice slide action.Points are very sharp, tensioning know is good size and locks tight to the shank.Very impressed. Will update as I use this new tool.

Not bad, not great.
Has all the fixing of a nice marking gauge with the wear rails, removable mortise pin, good weight. But the rail doesn’t fit snugly. If perfect accuracy down to fractions of a mil is what you need, this isn’t for you. Pushing/pulling the gauge will give slightly different markings since the rail can shift to slight angles depending on pressure. With some modifications to snug up the rail, could be great. As is, eh.

Great tool
Purchased for my woodcrafter as a gift. He is persnickety about his tools and this one impressed him. The workmanship is great - the piece is lovely. It was a great addition to some other markers in his shop.

Great mortoise guage!
Mortoise guage works great and as it should. I'm very happy with my purchase. Worked out for me while making my moravian bench.
