Everything about them make me happy: coloring, dimples, size and the quality. I bought 2 sets.

The dishes are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for, love the texture but they do need to be cleaned before being used. I love that they’re safe for the microwave and dishwasher and even freezer. When the package was delivered I was expecting at least one plate or bowl to be broken but this company took a lot of care for the dishes and none of them were broken when I recieved them! I will be buying these plates again so I can have more later on.

I LOVE these dishes. There are natural variations as they are handmade. They look just like super expensive hand crafted pottery. BEST THING I HAVE EVER BOUT FROM AMAZON. The glares are beautiful greens and blues and go with everything. Even though they are starry night themed, they could also be considered as ocean water look. I live near the water, and these dishes just FIT into my home and my lifestyle. Bought 3 sets and every single dish arrived unbroken, the packaging is topnotch, only card board and tape, no plastic and yet, rock solid package. So impressed!

Love the color. Love the sizes. Love the variability of the colors/edges/hammered texture - this shows that they are "handmade and thrown". What I don't like is the centers of the small plates aren't centered - they were not checked well for quality control. When I realized this it was too late to send them back, but both sets are like this. I truly love the colors and other variability of them, but this one thing really makes me give them a much lower rating than I would have.The sets (bought 2 to have a setting for 8) are very heavily made - which is a plus. They seem to be very durable. But the issues with the quality of the small plates for a "commercial" product is unacceptable for the price being paid for them.Edited 8/14/24: The manufacturer reached out to me to make the issues with the small plates right. They were very apologetic and empathetic to the fact that there had been issues with the small plates. They have ensured that the issues are being dealt with at the manufacturing facilities. We came to a mutual resolution which was satisfactory for both parties. Due to the CS Department reaching out to make these issues right I have increased my 3 star rating to a 4 star rating. I withheld 1 star due to the original problems with the product, otherwise this Seller is really great to work with.

I believe others have mentioned that these are not perfect. The shapes seem almost oval on the small plates, and usually that would bother me. However, they way these are made, the subtle differences add to their beauty. Two sets were purchased in identical colors, but one set seems to lean towards blue tones and the other toward green, but because of their coloring, it isn’t really obvious. Again, it adds to their charm. They are a nice weight, not too heavy, and not too light. People give compliments on them all the time! Would be interested in more pieces for serving, desserts, etc., in this color and style.

Slightly oval-ish in shape. Color variations on each piece, very unique and creative. Definitely look more expensive than what they are. Very pleased with purchase. Ordered 2 sets at the same time, waiting for the second set to come.

We bought these as a house warming gift to us and have just recently opened them. The color is even more beautiful than we expected. We love the fact that the shape isn’t perfect. The mugs and plates don’t get hot to the touch: that’s a plus. They come with an irregular soft-wavy texture, instead of the boring flat surface, Love that, so chic. Perfect for entertaining or just the two of us. What we don’t like is that one dinner plate and one bread plate from the middle of the box, is broken. We contacted Vancasso by email and have never heard back. So we don’t have a service for 8, we bought two sets, we have a service for 7. We are very disappointed. This Starry Dinnerware set could have earned 5 stars if we actually got a service for 8.Updated review 8-18Vancasso contacted us and expressed concern over the condition of the plates and asked if we would like a refund. I replied yes to the refund pointing out I would have to buy another set. another reply came asking us to contact the sales team without leaving any contact information. I suppose this could have been an oversight but very frustrating having to go thru this just to get a couple of plates replaced.
