Gaia Speaks: Sacred Earth Wisdom (Gaia Speaks Series, Book 1)

This is a channeled book which gives voice to Gaia, our planet. I feel it is best for those who already have some knowledge of the basic terminology and dogma of the whole "new age", magickal and metaphysical movement. You may, or may not, agree with her opinions, but then, you buy a book like this to see what She has to say, not necessarily to agree with it! How much of the authors own personality creeps in, I do not know, but, either way, There is much here to make you think and may cause you to consider and re-consider your own opinions and beliefs, which may be its ultimate point, and which I always consider to be a very good thing!

Love, love, love this book. It was just what my soul was hungry for. Pepper Lewis' channeling brings forth an understanding of the Earth and our relationship to her. It offers help for living on this planet, spiritually, now. Gaia explains how we and the earth came to be and why.Beautiful book. You can feel the love of the Earth for us in this channeling. The next two books are excellent too.

I originally found this book at my local library and couldn't put it down, so I bought my own. There is so much great information packed into this book. It covers a multitude of topics and there is certainly much wisdom to be had by reading this book. After reading about Earth wisdom, I also purchased Gaia Speaks: Wisdom for an Awakening Humanity as a companion to this first book.

Earth's channelling that completes and ilustrates anothers, but that rejects many, many others as well. Some New Age's metaphisycians, ecologists, politicians, economists, publishers- can be annoyed by her words. Gaia says: "[...] you cannot destroy what you did not create. [...]. In order to destroy the Earth, humanity would have to destroy itself. Hummans cannot and will not destroy themselves [...]" (p. 113). Certainly, a best-seller for this year. Certainly, a complete revision of New Age's history.
