I use this for work almost every day (in office) and when I go to move the warmer after about 4 straight hours of use, the part of the desk directly under the heated portion is incredibly hot! I would always notice my coffee getting cold by the time I'm getting through my emails. This was the perfect solution! No more cold coffee even when I get lunchtime but was so engulfed in my projects to drink all my coffee.It has three temperature settings and the lowest setting is perfect for me. There is a timer with the auto shut off but I rarely use it anymore. It works but I often have my mug sitting for hours. It's become a habit to turn off as I remove my mug but for others who may be forgetful the auto shut off works in a few different time setting. I also like the silicon cover as an added protection and as a reminder for me to make sure it's off. Perfect size for my desk and stays out of the way where I haven't knocked it over not once in the 7 months I've had this. Looks like it'll last a while.
