I’ve been in Law Enforcement for over thirty years and even remember wearing black Wranglers. 511 tactical pants are good and I also liked my Blackhawks. However, these CQR pants are truly amazing. They fit great, look good and yes, they really are waterproof. Last week I ended up dumping an entire can of Coke Zero on my right leg while in my patrol vehicle. Amazingly enough, the liquid merely ran down my pants and onto my floor mat. The pants weren’t even damp. These are the best EDC / work pants. Don't get me the 5.11 are great , but these here with the extra pockets and comfort fit means a lot!
