Instant Pot Ceramic Inner Slow Cooking Pot 6-Qt, Non-Stick Coated Interior, Rice Cooker

New review after buying the 6 quart inner pot: We also have a 6 quart Cosori Electric Pressure Cooker. I took a chance that this might fit even though it apparently doesn't work in all other EPCs... but it fits, PERFECTLY! So now we have all the benefits of the liner for the 8 quart machine, but for our smaller Cosori cooker. I use it mainly with slow-cooker function. These are SO nice for making bone broth, which can form a ring... but with this any ring that forms cleans out really easily with NO scrubbing. Same with making chili! This liner is also great for slow cooked overnight oatmeal! I still don't use it to sauté anything... for that I use the heavier bottomed stainless inner pot that came with the machine. For pressure cooking there's generally enough steam that the stainless inner pots stay pretty clean. I do my rice as pot-in-pot in a round pyrex dish (equal parts rice and water)... usually the 7 cup one. When we've taken what we need for dinner... the plastic storage lid goes on, and into the fridge... no mess at all -- and the rice is perfect every time! But for those long slow cooks that can leave a stainless pot a bit harder to clean up... the ceramic liner is perfection! Both of these liners were the less expensive items that had been returned to Amazon. In both cases I chose ones which indicated no damage, and in both cases I received pots in perfect condition with the original packing materials (the inner styrofoam to protect the pot's rim) intact. Original review of 8 quart pot: We needed a second inner pot and had planned on buying another stainless pot, but found this one on a good sale because of being returned, so decided to give it a try... and we could not be happier! The ceramic interior is VERY easy to clean. I have noted the photos by people where the ceramic has started to break down on the bottom of the pot... this inner pot does not have the thick bottom disk that is a part of the stainless inner pot. I am also a bit surprised that the outside of this inner pot is also covered with ceramic. It would seem it might hold up a bit better if the outside had been plain metal, with the ceramic only on the inside of the pot. So... I will probably NOT be using this with the sauté function... but for cooking down chicken bones for soup, using with the slow-cooker function, etc --- and with that I am hopeful it will last a long time, as it's just a wonderful addition for our IP!

This is an aluminum pot with great heat distribution with a ceramic non-stick coating on the inside and outside so that no bare aluminum is showing except a thin ribbon at the top edge where it is milled. This coating is completely unrelated to Teflon Brand and all its fluoro chloro chemical relatives. This pot allows me to saute, brown and seer things I can hold in waiting to add in after the other ingredients are done pressure cooking. This pot is great for par-steaming and then crisping and browning pot stickers and gyoza without sticking. This is by far easier to clean than the stainless steel insert that came with my Instant-pot, which I have to use Bon Ami on to get the unsightly protein residue off. This just wipes clean with a drop of Dawn dish detergent and a soft wet dish rag. I have NOT yet used this pot under pressure because that is not how I envisioned using it. For batch cooking it's just the best. At $16.99 plus tax this was a great value for such a work horse of a pot. This insert fits my 6 Quart Instant-Pot Nova Plus.

Bought this as a replacement for my slow cooker the size is amazing. It’s very durable perfect versatility easy to use and fit perfect.

After reading reviews on this product I was a little hesitant to purchase. I shouldn't have worried so much! This does not feel cheap or thin to me. It really is a nice pot and the price point is right for me. It works well, doesn't have even a fraction of the sticking that the stainless does (which has its place and I use regularly). I make a lot of sauces and it's very nice to not worry about the bottom of the pan getting too hot and burning. While I still watch it carefully I've not had any issues yet. One Month Update Jan 1, 2018: This has become the only inner pot I use. It's just so much easier to clean after cooking when compared to the stainless version. I've not had any heat issues at all. I was concerned early on that there would be "hot spots" from the element due to the fact that the bottom of this pan isn't double or triple layer like the stainless. This hasn't been the case at all. I've used my stainless inner pot to store things so that I can use the non-stick exclusively. I've used it about 20 times in the last month with NO signs of wear. I only use bamboo / wood / plastic utensils so I'm can't speak to its hardiness with metal utensils.

If you need to replace yours don't hesitate this is it. It fits amazing Faberware multifunction devices. It is safe and sturdy and looks very high quality. However, stains are not easy to remove, and some foods tend to stick to the pot while cooking. I’ve only used it a few times, so I was expecting the ceramic surface to be a little more nonstick.

I bought the Instant Pot ceramic pot to replace the stainless steel pot because I wanted to reduce nickel leaching into my food. The ceramic pot is about 7 ounces lighter than the stainless steel pot that came with my Instant Pot. I like that it is nonstick, which also makes it easier to clean.

The pot looks and feels of good quality (exactly as the original pot for my pressure cooker), it fit perfectly on my pressure cooker (the pioneer woman 6qt). Good quality, affordable price, arrived sooner than expected.

My rice cooker died so I've been using my instant pot instead but the rice tended to stick to the stainless steel bowl. I bought this and now the rice doesn't stick. 10/10.
