These socks are excellent for comfort, durability, and color. I wear them almost everyday during the winter. They do come up a bit high on my calves but they don't bind my leg in any way.

the socks came in the size I ordered, but are small in size very tight around my leg had to roll over at the top of the sock. well made but the size does not really fit. small narrow through out.

Best sox I ever owned and I am 69 years of age. I still walk and hike often and was in desperate need of a soft comfortable sock that would not irritate and otherwise cause problems. After several months of browsing and trying to narrow down choices, I settled on these and I’m so glad I did! They are soft, a snug fit but that’s OK (probably helps prevent rubbing inside a shoe), and a big major for me is that the seam does NOT press against my toes! Other sox soon become rough in texture and that seam can be painful. I don’t know what magicians created these but they are worthy of praise. I wash and dry them in the typical manner and, so far, no shrinkage. I keep the dryer heat as low as possible. Overall, I bestow 5 stars all the way!

I was expecting a thicker sock. These do fit very snug too.

BLUF: I love these socks, so comfortable, feels so good on my feet, like a difference between a higher thread count on bed sheets, might not sound like a lot, but once you put them on, SO GOOD.So, in 2000, I got a pair of these socks and like anyone, oh well, Socks, I needed some so I guess I don't have to buy them. But man, from the first time I put them on they were amazing! Every time laundry time was done, I would use the 3 pairs I got from that Christmas first, for work, for walking, working out, or just hanging around the house. For the next few Christmases when my parents or wife would ask what I'd like, I would say those socks you got me, but they forgot which brand and type, so I never got them.Fast forward to a month ago, and I realized 2 of the pairs were starting to get a hole, I did a ton with them, so it wasn't a surprise, what was is that they lasted so long. Many of my other socks came and went multiple times. So, then the last couple weeks I was trying to figure out what brand these were, the only word I could see clearly was the word Force, but the rest was a bit worn. It wasn't until last week I put one on and the letters were much clearer and said Carhart, Really?!? So, I searched here, and found the exact ones I had. I ordered 6 packages, 2 of each color, work, play, and chilling. They came in yesterday and today I put one on, and that feeling like the first time came back. I know, it might sound like I'm exaggerating a bit, but man, for real, I've never written a review or cared about socks before, and I was in the military needing socks that would withstand what we did, but were SO thick, these are so much better and not as thick.Very happy, and thanks for reading if you read this all.

After buying one set of 3 I came back and got another set about a month or two later. was looking for some summer socks originally. Here's my take. These are on the thin side however that's not IMO a bad thing for summer. Why I came back is I'm somewhat amazed that they have held up as they have. Even with my ratty, rough toenails, not a wear/hole. They slip on as well as the first time, and have not stretched out. Give great support all the way to the top. These won't fill in loose fitting shoes gaps. For the price, which I was skeptical about at first, outstanding. My only worry is that by the time I may need to replace some is that Amazon won't have them. Highly recommend. Your welcome.

The socks are lower calf socks. They do feel nice I think for walking in, and they do well for not sliding down. What they do not do well is that everything sticks to them and it's a real pain to get fibers and twigs and slivers of wood/fibers out of them. From walking around and some wood fibers got in my boot and I thought for sure it was going to pull the threads out since they were stuck so well in the fabric. If your wearing these for dress socks or in a very clean environment (such as not having kids) then they might be OK. But if you have kids that play outside then these might end up being something to pass on. My guess is that they made these out of synthetic material to make them not fall down the calves, and that they do very well. If you got big calves you might want to pass on them as they fit very snugly.

I bought these for my older son who is on his feet all day in work boots and works in excessive heat and humidity during the summer. These socks have been awesome at keeping his feet comfortable and have become his favorite socks for summer work. His thicker boot socks he usually wears were way too warm and thick to keep his feet comfortable, so these were a surprisingly nice find!

Really comfortable, you could feel the difference on the first wear, one thing that bugs me a bit is how long and how tight the socks are around the calves. Other than that, perfect socks.

Quite happy with these. Thick, but not too thick. Soft and finally socks that are big enough. I've tried so many brands and they all fit small. Their xl are actually xl.They seem durable but I've only worn them several times so far. If they hold up, I'll be buying more

Great socks, but a bit tight if you've got large legs. And I ordered the biggest size

no review way too small should say size 9 not 11 to15
