Donc connecter seulement le "-" à un ground et le "+" à un courant accessoires au moteur ou autre selon l'application. Il s'arrêtera à l'arrêt du moteur mais conservera le nombre d'heure de cette façon. Review: C'est un des rares modèles que j'ai trouvé sans pile interne. Avantage : pas de pile donc pas besoin de le jeter et perdre les données quand la pile irremplaçable se vide. Désavantage : l'affichage ne s'allume que lorsque l'appareil est sous tension. I can't remember if it needs battery positive, or ground to reset. **Q: Is this Waterproof** A: Yes it is. We have it mounted in a control panel on paving machine which is exposed to weather. **Q: what is the maximum allowable amperes?** A: Not sure the max amperage, but I installed it on a Toro zero turn lawnmower (12V Neg ground) with no issues.
