I backpack traveled the world for over a year with this adapter. It has been nothing but reliable. It's the most compact adapter I've ever found, and covers nearly all possible outlets across the globe. Due to the length each adapter protrudes from the wall, it does get loose in a few rare outlets; but from my experience, larger, bulkier adapters tend to be just as loose in those adapters.Just add a rubber-band to hold the plastic ground plug cover to the body, and you have everything you'll need to charge anywhere.

This is the most compact universal adapter I've seen. I have tested in the UK and Europe (my gear has US plugs), it worked as expected. There are three pieces - two inline plug sections and one small plastic piece that is needed for UK (and perhaps other?) outlets. I docked it one star as the pieces don't snap together tightly. I ended up securing the plastic piece to the plug part with a rubber band.
