Burgon & Ball Royal Horticultural Society RHS by Gardening Snip - British Meadow

Not what I would have expected from an RHS endorsed piece of gardening equipment. After only 39 days of very light use, the spring has weakened and the blades only open a short distance. There is no adjustment on the pivot.Very poor I might as well have bought a much cheaper product as the quality falls far short of the price tag.I will in future make sure I give the next pair I buy a thorough test within the 30 return period.Added InformationContacted Burgon & Ball customer services department who were extremely helpful and sent me a new spring free of charge which rectified the problem. The snips are working perfectly now and I am delighted with them. I have revised my star rating to 5

If I hear my dad tell me one more time how good they are might borrow them back to cut my own ears off …

Really comfortable to use. Can easily be closed with strap at the base of handles. Good spring and long blade tips for reaching down to the base of plants for neat dead heading and pruning of soft wood. All round useful tool.

Was given these as a gift liked them so much bought some for giving to my gardening friends
