Easy replacement for a failed camera
Purchased as a replacement for one of my cameras that failed after 4 years. This is an updated version that appears to have a slightly wider angle view, better night view and a bit more resolution. Price was the same as the manufacturer but shipping free with prime. Replacement was easy with just a few screws and the same lan cable plug in.

The motion lights need work
The motion lights are intended and built to scare away burglars but I want them to illuminate the front door so I can open the door with the key. The duration timer is rather short and the light goes off.Not only that I've found it hard to set to light up on detected motion. They have an overlay that is the devil to set as far as ingress and egress goes and then it works poorly not detecting motion.The two way talk does work with BI but you have to have Dahua settings to make it work.

Reliability and clarity
Excellent cameras. I own a Lorex surveillance system and it is so clear and reliable it caught my neighbor poisoning my property!! Its a very reliable camera and Lorex system.

Lorex camera

It probably won’t work - and the N910 they sell you will not work either.
All of the functions on this camera would not work with my 4 year old Lorex system, so instead of returning it, I decided to upgrade my system. After spending a number of hours on the phone with Lorex support it seems they have had a lot of people who cannot access the NVR (N910A6) using their iPhone to monitor the system. So after all afternoon the guy tells me that if they find a solution they will let me know. Then they sent me a “case closed” note, as if they did something. That’s basically FALSE ADVERTISING. It is advertised to work one way, and once you get it, you find it only has 50% functionality. RIPOFF.
