Boom Arm Microphone Mic Stand for Blue Yeti Fifine HyperX, Black

I bought one of these years ago as a temporary setup and I am still using it today. It has never let me down. My one complaint is at the point the mic arm goes into the clamp socket, there is a friction point and it rubs the round arm lock screw. You easily remedy this by adding a small spacer of some kind (I use a wrapped up hair tie, for example) so the arm sits a little higher in its socket and clears the top of that screw. Otherwise I have been very surprised at how well this thing has held up to daily use over the course of several years.

I’ve been very happy with this boom arm. It was easy to assemble, clamps securely to my desk, and holds my microphone in place without sagging or drifting over time. The arm moves smoothly, making it easy to position the mic exactly where I want it, and the built-in cable management helps keep everything looking clean. It feels well made for the price and has been a solid addition to my setup. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone putting together a home office, gaming, or streaming setup.

I picked up this arm the other day to help get my desk clean of the standing mic I had taking up valuable surface real estate. I looked at things like the Rode PSA1 which seems to be one of the more "standard" options at this point, but I'm not a podcaster, I just need a good setup for work meetings, gaming, and anything else I might need--but this is for home use, not a studio. Out of the box, the setup is very easy--it's mostly assembled, and all you need to do is attach the clamp to your desk or tabletop, pop in the actual arm itself, and attach your mic. For attachment, it does come with a thread adapter as well as an angled clip, but I didn't use either of these since I had another option for those already. They seem fine and straightforward, I'm not sure if more can really be said about them. The package also includes some teflon tape. I'm not sure how valuable this is. I noticed my mic was slipping a little and getting unscrewed easily, so I applied it, and things are a little more snug, but I honestly don't think it made much real difference. That said, it's a nice inclusion since the fit might not be perfect. The arm is easy to adjust, it holds in place even with a medium weight microphone. Running my XLR cable was fine, and made easier by the included 5 hook and loop fasteners. I do have a couple of little quirks with this arm that I'm still getting used to a little bit. One, it seems to wobble quite a bit when I type on the keyboard, even though it should be decoupled at least somewhat by distance from the surface. It's not a huge problem, and I am a heavy typist, so this is probably more my fault than anything, but it is noticeable. The only thing I need beyond that is to have a ball head on this mount point--it it a bit obnoxious that I can only rotate it one way, at the end. This happens to work okay for my mic setup, because I happen to angle it perpendicular to the way I want to point the mic. It would be nice if I could angle the mic up from its position, though. All in all, it's really hard to find too much fault with this thing for the price. I couldn't really expect much more from this price point. It may not last forever, but if I run into issues like that I'll upgrade when it makes sense. For now this is a solid entry level option for my needs.

Ordered me a nice little Samson satellite mic for my gaming setup and was scouring Amazon for a decent boom arm to mount it to. Half of the boom arms you find on Amazon for below $50 are cheap, flimsy, noisy and break quickly. The innogear boom arm solves all of those problems while retaining a cheap price point. I’ve had 4 other boom arms, including an expensive one from target, and this one blows all of them out of the water. It doesn’t creak when you turn it, it isn’t too stiff or too loose, assembly was easy and painless, the springs are very nice and sturdy and it comes with super nice Velcro wraps for your mic cord. Overall I can’t recommend this product enough.

Very good mic stand. I'm able to move it where ever I want and it has lots of adjustment. I can put it right up to my mouth or just swing it to the side of my desk when im not gonna use it. The quality is top notch for the price. I honestly wouldn't need anything better and this was very cheap.

For a Rode NT1 I suggest to get another Arm Microphone. This one is good but when you try to use in right side, it gets in a weird position sometimes And not the best to hold a position without movement .

Was fairly cheap and quite easy to set up. Holds a Blue Yeti just fine. I appreciate the inclusion of cable ties and thread tape as well!

I was looking for an inexpensive way to get my computer's microphone off my desktop. It is rarely used (mostly for narration in videos) and this was a great way to improve the efficiency of my desktop. I have an off-brand USB microphone that didn't fit very well but it was functional. I then purchased a quality microphone for my ham radio and re-purposed this stand for my radio and it works perfectly. The microphone fits as it should and the arm holds the position very well. Even though it was a lower price than many others I think the quality is just as good.

I like this product simple and does what it says but it had a cracked down the dial that adjusts the clamp

Needed a stand to get my Blue Yeti Nano off the desk (wanted some desk space back, reduce keyboard noise and to get it in a better position for my voice). This stand was easy to install and works perfectly. Sturdy and easily maneuverable. Great value.
