We've purchased this style filter on several occasions due to being able to cut filter to fit our HVAC system. Each time it has done a great job filtering dirt/dust and because we live in a mobile it's very important to keep the air as clean as possible for our unit. We like that we can make it the proper size for our system as well and feel it's a great price for a roll and gets us thru a year or better of changes.

Got a new Furnace in June 2022 and this one uses the rolled filter material vs the cardboard filters. On my old furnace, I was using MERV 8 filters and wanted to continue to do so with the new furnace, but my local Box Store(s) didn't carry it, so I found this roll on Amazon. So, obviously you have to cut-to-size what you need. In my case the new furnace needs 2 filters at 14x20 ea. Since this roll only comes in 25" widths, there's some loss of material for me, plus the hassle of having to cut these out each time, vs. the cardboard filters which you can buy in the exact size you need. It's a behavior change that I need to get used to - no big deal. I've changed the filters twice so far, and they seem to be working OK. This MERV 8 material is not as densely woven as with the cardboard filters so they weren't as dirty as my cardboard filters would normally be but they are 1" thick as compared to paper thin with the cardboard filters, so "maybe" they are working as they should? Hard to tell since it's not an apples-to-apples comparison. I may look into moving up to a MERV 10 or MERV 12 furnace filter to see if there's any difference - we''ll see. Also note - you can find these rolls much cheaper on other sites. Found one site that carried them in MERV 8 and in 20" widths, so no waste and less cutting for me!

Quality Product, true to size of 25" x 1" x 6'. An excellent a part of this product is the minimally sticky orange back side which allows you to lay it out on the filter frame and cut exactly to size without it sliding around so you would not get the cut that you want. Yes, it does come in a plastic envelope which was good for me because I just used it to store the excess that I will need for the future cuts.

Use these for reusable hvac filter. They work fine and came as described. The value isn’t the best anymore. May be better to order direct from an hvac site, you’ll have to order more but the $ may make more sense then

I needed to change the filters on my S& P TR90 which is very easy, however getting replacement filters was not easy at all. I contacted the company and they directed me to one of their retailers, but to purchase anything from these stores you need to be a licensed HVAC repair person. I read an answered question about replacement filters for the larger TR130 unit and this is the replacement they suggested. It looks to be the exact replacement material used for my unit, just had to cut to size.
