Let me start off by saying that I was fully aware of the controversy surrounding this holster before I purchased it, and I took it into full consideration. That being said, I think this is a fantastic holster. The serpa is rock solid, I know this to be true because I actually got into a tussle with someone while wearing it (and the dual mag carrier) and even after rolling around on a hard wood floor, it came out with not even so much as a scratch. The gun was held secure and even with the paddle attachment it never came off. Now I will address some of the concerns people have with this holster ( keep in mind I carry a berretta M9 so this will not apply to every model) 1. The issue of post draw. I can understand where this is an issue on some models, however, after extensive experience with this holster I am convinced that ( other then a few models) if you have a problem, or are still concerned with this issue, its due to lack of training. Any holster you plan to carry requires extensive training, there's no way around that and if you train with this holster you should not have an issue with post draw. Side note: "training" is not practicing how fast you can draw your weapon from this holster, proper training for this, or any holster, means practicing drawing your weapon while maintaining proper trigger discipline. 2. This holster is not for everyone in every situation, nor is it the best holster for every gun. This is not a concealed carry holster. All of that being said... this is a rock solid, badass holster. Its a great product, by a company who knows their stuff. While I wouldn't recommended this to everyone, its not because of the product, its for the simple fact that its just not for everyone.

Brand was recommended to me by professional former military gun trainer. I am Very happy with the quality and sturdy design of this holster. My handgun fits in it like a glove - perfectly - and the snap guard keeps it in place when it is in the holster. A simple index finger press down on the mechanism allows the gun to be retrieved quickly and smoothly. Terrific on the range for practicing as well as when you are carrying and need to keep it secure without fear of anyone getting a hold of it or having it fall out of move around in any way as you move. Adjustable belt placement is great too. It can be cantered or straight up and down, inside belt/pants, or outside. Highly recommended style and brand. You will not be disappointed.

Purchased this on the recommendation of a LEO buddy of mine. He used it on duty and never had a problem. Light weight. Secure hold yet easy for the wearer to draw from. Lots of adjustability too. I’m very happy with it.

This is a nice, well-made holster. Build quality is good, the design is great, and it is fairly easy to switch between the paddle and the belt attachments for the holster. However my M9A1 - a member of the 92 family - wouldn't fit in this holster because the M9A1 has a rail under the barrel. Although it is advertised as a holster for the Beretta 92/96, it will not fit one with an accessory rail. That detail was left out of the product description. I returned the holster, and had no problems returning it to the vendor. However I don't like the fact that I had to pay shipping on this holster, twice, because the product description was inaccurate.

I have SERPA holsters for several of my firearms and they all work great. This one is no exception. The clip locks onto my 92FS just like it should. The fit is snug, so my gun doesn't jostle around at all when I'm moving. Draw is nice and smooth, no hang-ups.

I definitely like this holster, I use it mostly when I'm out in the wood target shooting and/or hiking. I've hiked and ridden quads with it on and it hold on like a champ, haven't had it slip out yet. I wouldn't recommend it for walking around town though because, unless you are wearing a heavy jacket, It will be very obvious you have your weapon.

Fits my Berretta 92FS just great. I love that it locks the gun in so it's much less likely to fall out if I'm on the move. It also makes it a little tricky for someone to try to grab your gun. This is a very versatile holster and anyone using it should be able to find a configuration that works for them. Blackhawk rules.

Not recommended for "inside-the-pants" carry. But perfect for belt carry.

An excellent holster! Even better for the price purchased. This holster comes with both a belt and waistband rig in the package. The grip of the retention lock is positive and intuitive. The holster angle is adjustable to the user's preference. The release mechanism is easy to master and promotes proper finger positioning on the draw. I am very happy with this purchase and recommend! (Note that this holster fits the Girsan clone of the Beretta 92F perfectly).
