this case is huge!
i never bought the complete set, so i never got this case. i was take by surprise when this case came in and i saw the size of it - realistically they could design this better to fit into a smaller/compact travel set up. overall its a good case and works.

Huge!
MN just can't seem to get the case design for their nut files down. The original case that came with my six file set had no restraints to keep the files from crashing around against each other. I added two more files to the set so I decided to try this case. At least it has individual restraints for each file. That keeps them from slamming around. But the case is huge! 12" x 7". It has restraints for 16 files but it has enough space for twice as many. And that's NOT a good thing IMHO. Who needs a giant case taking up space on the bench?

If you are taking the more economical Music Nomad nut file route, it's a great item to have. Keeps things all together and protected.

Great case for your nut files!
Originally I purchased the set of 6 files but have since expanded my set and needed a bigger case. I was happy to find out that MusicNomad sells the case separately. Definitely recommended if you plan on purchasing the nut files a little bit at a time!
