Great price, great support.
I purchased this for a low/mid range system going in a SFF case and needed a cheap SFX supply. The first one I ordered had horrible coil whine when powered off (5V standby), so it was extremely noticeable. Decided to reach out to support (Amazon was sold out so couldn't replace). They were extremely responsive and after I sent them some info (serial and copy of invoice), quickly dispatched a new one. Got it 4 days later and it's works great powering my i7 4790k and GTX1070 mini without issue. Fan is a bit louder than I'd like, but that's to be expected for a supply that only goes for $30. It's not horrible. All in all, I was a little disappointed at first with the quality, but their support seems top notch and ultimately got what I needed and quite happy with purchase.

Working great!
So far it is working great. It is much quieter than my last power supply but not as quiet as I had hoped but still so much better.Update 9/10/2019 - The power supply is still working but now the fan is going out. It is making some very bad noises. Just a few months past warranty so I will probably have to replace the fan myself. I guess you get what you pay for. At least it is still working and as for problems, it is a fairly easy fix. Not going to knock a star off since it did last over a year and is technically still working as is, I just don't trust the fan anymore.

Terrible coil whine
This product came just as advertised, having a 6 pin connector for a GPU and 8 pins for my CPU power. However, right when I plugged it into my wall outlet and flipped the switch on it, I got the worst coil whine. This is before I even pressed the power button on the computer, so it was under no load. Once it is under load, however, it works fine and the whine goes away. If I put my computer to sleep or shut it off, it starts back up again. Not acceptable considering my computer is in my bedroom and I can't even hear myself think when it's shrieking the way it does.

Third time lucky
This is the third one of these PSUs I've bought. This one is for an ITX case I bought a while back and wanted to update. Another one is in this silly old Dell by my foot -- it's not the right size, but I was able to secure it and it's working. Not sure where I put the third one. Anyway, for a small power supply they work very nicely, They make plenty of power (at least for any Video Cards you'd be squeezing into a case that needed on of these) Plenty of connectors (almost too many) and nice and quiet. The only way to improve it would be to make at least some of the cables modular - but that would raise the price, and the price is one of the nicest things about this little PSU.Found the other one - it's in a Thermaltake ITX case that could be using a normal sized PSU, so there you go.

Works well
I was worried about buying this because of posted complaints, but this one works well in a mini itx system with a Gtx 1050 graphics card. The fan is a little noisy...

Replacement that is quiet and runs smooth however,... UPDATE 9/1/2020
Bought this as an Emergency Replacement. It runs smooth, a very slight hum but that's normal and I've great hearing. Now the bad, the cable bundle coming out isn't as flexible and is rather rigid. It can't be bent downwards to miss hitting the back of a 5.25" drive. I would've enjoyed giving this a 5 Star but after putting everything back, my DVD RW Drive stopped working then saw the Power light on it wasn't on. So I know it knocked it's SATA Power Cable off as I did that then put it back thinking it would hold. It didn't. But still, for under $30, ths is still a good deal!UPDATE: Lsst night, September 1st, a capacitor blew out, some smoke and a flash as I was powering down. It was strong enough to disconnect one connector! Hoping my system didn't fry but again, hopeful...

Quality control is lacking. Conflicts with modern motherboards.
The first one i recieved I am deeming it DOA because it had a short in one of the wires. I had to flex the wires to test power supply. I had to refund the first one and order another. The wires seems really stiff which I think why it failed or developed a short. Little to no quality control. Packaging is really tight for the application. Otherwise the power supply work I would recommended for budget builds or replacement for store bought pcs.EDIT: the second unit I received was in the same condition. I think that a failsafe was being tripped inside the PSU. (Out of 3 PSUs this one exhibited this symptom)It seemed the happen with every power cycle from the I/O switch or unplugged. I had to remove the +4 pin from the 24pin connector and reinstall it just to get the motherboard to power on) from there it was fine worked like normal.I had a couple of issues related to game crashes and a bsod but I have to run a couple more tests that confirm that it's the power supply.

A for Apevia: Very Good Power Supply 4 Computer Repair, Small Form Factor Desktop
Spent 3 weeks looking for a small form factor power supply unit replacement for an old desktop repair. Old HP Pavillion computer uses a microATX form factor. Depth into the computer chamber has to be less than 4" to fit the cabling to the internal motherboard and hardware. Very, very difficult to locate a microATX for factor. I wanted a price in the $20--25 price range. The Apevia came in high wattage. It has a power switch for on/off, and this is important. It was priced at $30. The quality is good. It looks very nice--comes in all black profile with black covered cables, so sleek and modern. Small size so fits where there is space limits. You will need to buy a adapter plate SFX to ATX. The computer is running, surfing the internet, typing in the review. If I had a similar repair to do, I would buy it again. With a discount code, this is a dope buy. 1 4 4
