(update: one thing to note is that the different color choices offered are NOT ALL THE SAME THICKNESS. So I ordered the argyle patterned socks or "multicolor super thick." HOWEVER, I notice a number of reviews saying the socks are unexpectedly thin compared to their description etc. I think these reviewers bought one of the first three of the five color options. These are names "Normal Thick _insert color name_" whereas the last two, the neutral oatmeal/solid patterned ones, and the argyle ones, say "Super Thick _color name_" when you hover over them. THESE are super thick. I've a feeling its one of those instances where really half of the color options should have been under a separate listing because they do not physically match the main feature described in the listing title. So while some options are on target, others aren't. And that does piss me off when shoping, because it makes it harder to read which reviews are and are not in fact relevant based on the color or style ordered. )Its frustrating how hard it is to find women's socks that are actually thick and warm. Lots of cartoony socks, thin things that get called "wool" but aren't, etc. etc. etc. Acrylic can be very warm and soft and toasty... especially if you can find the Dickies brand mens socks in a small... and have big feet (like I do). Like only men go out doors and actually need warmth. I get it, we wear stilletos everyday and everywhere, so how can we wear anything thicker than three pairs of pantyhose worn on-top of each other, if even that? Dress socks are fine, and I use them all the time for the right shoe and setting... blah blah blah. But "warm socks" and "thick socks" ought to be those things.FINALLY THICK WARM SOCKS FOR WOMEN THAT DON'T FEEL LIKE THEY'LL WEAR OUT IN TWO DAYS!Very soft and warm, seem to breathe pretty well considering. Often find socks with slippers a little too warm, but hate just wearing slippers that get ruined faster when you wear them bare-footed. But, despite their thickness, I've been wearing these with my slippers and they seem just fine.ONLY DOWNSIDE: They are indeed THICK and this does mean shoe-size altering thick, lol! So I was disappointed when I couldn't honestly wear this with my nice ankle boots despite the boot being a little long on me. I haven't tried them with my snow boots but I think those will work and I can probably wear them with those. However, DO BE AWARE that these aren't going to fit if your wearing a sneaker, dress boot, work shoe etc. etc. etc. GREAT for at home, or if your shoes are quite big on you, but THICK.However, while my joy at the fact that somebody finally delivered thick warm, (and so far, seemingly durable) socks for women is such that they will still recieve a five-star rating even if some might have given a four-star for the realization they wouldn't get their shoes on with them. lol.

Nice socks pretty colors they're so soft on my feet I love these socks but they're a little thick for my sneakers and snow boots so I only get to wear them as socks. Perhaps winter boots a little bit bigger size and these would work but these are very thick socks when you try to put your shoes on.

I live in a colder climate and have severe arthritis in my ankles and feet, so keeping my feet warm becomes a matter of preventing pain throughout my day. These do seem to shed a little, but I don’t find it problematic. These socks are also quite soft and I find them to be durable enough to wear with heavy leather shoes and boots.

These are supposed to fit up to size 10, I wear a 10, they fit but very snug, quality is pretty good, colors nice, some of the stitching makes them tighter

They are vibrant socks, I like the colors. They aren't really thick. I would consider them more of a summer weight sock, possibly good for hiking in the summer. They aren't as thick as i had hoped. They aren't as warm as I hoped they would be. They are comfortable and fit as expected.

Love the colored socks! Fit great and feel great! Lot better than plain whites!

These are so thick and warm. I used them as stocking stuffers. When I washed my set they did not shrink or bead up.
