I'm assuming you're talking about a possible father and an adult possible daughter? Yes, you can use this kit for that. Whoever receives the kit shipment will just need to drop the other participant's testing materials and barcoded sample envelope into the mail and send it to that other participant. Each party does their own DNA samples and sends them in to the lab where they are reunited for testing. My tracking hasn’t said my kit has reached the testing facility after 2 weeks. Should I call the facility?

My kit reached the facility in 3 days but didn't get to a tech for 2 weeks. I would call the facility to see if it got lost.

Do you just need the child and fathers dna? Not the mothers?

Yes. Although the mother's DNA can help strengthen results under certain circumstances, it is usually not required. Should it turn out to be needed, the lab will suspend testing and ask for the mother's samples. We'll then include her in the test at no extra charge.

Is the test still valid if the swab was done few weeks before? I mean if the mailing of the test take two weeks, is the DNA test still valid?

Yes. Untested samples are good for an extended period of time.

Very easy, accurate and affordable. I was worried about hiding fees but everything is included on the price. You don’t even need to pay to ship the samples… And for the people that complain the report doesn’t come with names, it makes sense they don’t put the names since nobody is verifying ID’s and you doing the test yourself. They just got the info provided by the costumer and of course they can’t prove the accuracy of any of this information.. My husband and I weren’t sure about one of his children and did the test and came 0 percent of paternity and now we can securely start the court proceedings since we’re sure isn’t his daughter. Very satisfying with the results !

Great. The results are a little confusing to read. Helped a friend. Had to reread it several times to make sure I understood it. They used legal jargin. Just use normal language! Confuses people. Fairly quick return time. My friend was happy with the results.
