This is a great pin. Sturdy and heavy duty.I knocked off a star because I don't like the imprinted ruler on the pin.. twice. So when you roll the dough for the first few times, you get the ruler imprinted in the dough kind of annoying.Otherwise it's a great pin.I think it could stand to have another size ring as well.*****updateOriginally purchased Jan, 2018; following update June 2020Well, I've been using this pin regularly for the last 2.5 years. I've dropped it a few times, but have never cracked the size rings. 99% of the time I only use the 1/4" ring. But, they are worn out. They pop off pretty regularly. I have been considering buying a different kind for a while now, because I get so tired of fighting to keep the rings on.I still like the length of the pin. And have also considered super gluing the rings together, because the pin itself is a good pin, and I certainly don't need another standard pin.

I am very pleased with this. Have only had the opportunity to work with it one time, but it worked out perfectly. I can never tell how thick my dough is so this took all the guess work out of that. I had seen a review in which someone said it was "huge" but I wouldn't say that. It is normal sized as far as I can tell.I don't think the barrel is really solid wood as many rolling pins are, but I do not think that is going to matter. And the handles are plastic. But for me, it feels very comfortable to use, is attractive, and feels and looks like a quality rolling pin.

It’s huge! I should have read the product dimensions so that’s on me. But the big size can also be a good thing, it will definitely be easier to roll out large quantities of gingerbread dough and salt dough which is what I got it for.Great for the price! I didn’t want to spend $15 dollars on a rolling pin w measuring rings, and to buy rings separately to retrofit my current pin would have been the same price as this one ($7).

This rolling pin does exactly what it says it does. The handles are easy to hold and the rings are easy to remove and put back on. It is a bit bigger than I expected though, I had a hard time finding a place to store it.

I have been using this rolling pin for a year and a half and have loved it. I use it to make 1/4 inch cookies, and they come out perfect every time. However, I recently decided to make my cookies thicker, which is where I encountered issues. The 3/8 inch rings pop off as soon as pressure is applied to the dough, making this rolling pin useless for thicker cookies. To do so, I will have to purchase another rolling pin. It is also quite difficult to remove the rings (all but the 3/8 ring), which hasn't been much of an issue, as I rarely need to do so. If you are interested in an adjustable rolling pin (rather than a strictly 1/4 inch rolling pin), save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.
