Are there instructions for clearning the water from the pipes in the fall for winter preparation?

I plumbed my air compressor into the sprinkler water line then added a shutoff valve near the compressor. This way I can first turn off the water valve in the basement, then go out to the compressor in the garage, turn the pressure regulator down to about 60psi, and then open the valve, allowing the sprinkler system to be pressurized with 60psi of air. Then open each sprinkler valve one-at-a-time and allow the air to push the water out of the lines. Depending on the size of your compressor tank, you may have to wait for the pressure to build back up before opening the 2nd 3rd.... valves.
