Q: I have a jet boat ...is this the additive I'm looking for if I'm using non-marine gas?

I use is in my motorcycles, cars, boat, lawn mower, snow blower, and everything else I own that uses gas. So I guess it would be fine in your jet boat as well.

Q: Why is there a different dose for initial dosage and refills? I am filling gas cans for a generator.

Yes that can be a bit confusing. The real question is whether you are doing long term storage (say 30 days or more) or just shorter term usage. For long term storage say for over the winter 3-6 months you should use the higher dosage. For day to day usage use the lower dosage.

Star tron comes with a vented cap so that the bottle can expand and contract as weather changes. This is why we always recommend to store upright to avoid leaking.

Star Tron works in all gas engines, from your Town & Country van to lawnmowers, boats, motorcycles, chainsaws and all other gas engines. The normal "maintenance" dose is 1 ounce per gallon of fuel being treated, HOWEVER, because you have allowed the gas to age, we'd suggest you use at least 2 ounces per gallon of fuel being treated, followed by fresh fuel. Start and run the engine and refill with fresh fuel as you use up the existing fuel. You need to use up this fuel ASAP - do not let it age any further.
