I've had this speaker for a couple of months now and here are some of the pros and cons.PRO:- Great sound for such a small device. I was seriously blown away by the sound produced by this speaker.- Still splash proof! I have not tried to submerge it or anything (as it is not waterproof). When changing songs or adjusting the volume, some water gets on the speaker, but there has no water damage yet.- Bluetooth connection works wonderfully! It was very easy to set up and still connects very fast as well.CON:- Pairing voice for the speaker is initially very loud. I don't think there is a way to adjust the sound so I am forced to cover the speaker with a pillow or in a towel if I don't want the loud voice saying that "Bluetooth is already opened.- I use to be able to keep my phone out of the bathroom and the signal would still be strong. However, I have noticed that the signal started to cut out about a month into using the device. Sometimes I bare with it (cuts out about every other song) or I had to bring my phone in with me in my bathroom. The point of this speaker was to be able to keep my phone out of the bathroom to prevent water damage. Although I have found a workaround, I am still slightly disappointed that it can not reach the true 30 feet from my phone in another room to the bathroom.Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a small portable speaker that produces great sound for the size and cost!

(1) The Good:----------------------(a) This is an amazingly good speaker for the price.(b) It's bass and treble range is amazing/great and is comparable to bluetooth (and analog) speakers that cost five to six times the price or more.(c) The speaker case is waterproof.(d) The speaker operates both via bluetooth and via 1/8" mini-jack while some of the more expensive models are only blue tooth.(e) The speaker's hardened case can take a lot of accidental abuse(f) The speaker is very easy to configure with most bluetooth enabled devices(g) The battery seems to last for 4 to 5 hours as stated in the specifications(h) On Amazon.com Neutab states that it has a 1 year defective product warranty on this product (we'll see if they honor this)(i) Amazon has a 30 day defective product warranty - but you must return the product and purchase a new one then amazon credits your account(j) The speaker is compact and has a small footprint(k) Great concept for a speaker (but needs design-work)(2) The Bad----------------------(a) At some point, something inside starts to rattle (probably the battery). This is indicative of some design or manufacturing flaw.(b) Soon after the rattling starts, there is a problem with charging(c) There does not appear to be a way to open the case to change the battery(d) On occasion, there is an electronic clipping sound followed by continuous electronic distortion of the speaker's musical output. Turning the speaker off and back on eliminates this distortion.(e) The built-in connect/disconnect messages are very loud and there does not seem to be a way to lower the volume of these messages(f) It's difficult to determine from the red/blue light indicator when the unit is fully charged. Sometimes when connected to the charger, the red light stays on forever - so red may may mean that it is connected to the charger, but I've never seen the red light go off until you disconnect the charger.(g) The + - buttons do not seem to work consistently - single click or hold (hold should be same as multiple clicks)(h) M (Mute?) button does not seem to work consistently(i) Not sure how the telephone button is supposed to work(3) The Ugly----------------------(a) There appears to be a design flaw in that at some point you can no longer re-charge the battery. One model stopped after 2 weeks Two other models stopped recharging after 3+months - within a week of each other(b) There does not appear to be a way to open the case to replace the battery so when the battery discharges, your unit becomes dysfunctional(c) While the specs say that it runs on both AC and battery, when plugged into a charger, if the battery has run down, you get a loud message to recharge the unit at fairly short intervals(d) I have had 3 of these speakers and they all ended up not being able to recharge(e) What user documentation?

I have been using this speaker for almost two months. Here are my thoughts:Sound Quality: The sound is ok but not great. Even though the sound isn't the best, it is adequate and the speakers one redeeming quality. The sound is why this gets 2 stars instead of no stars.Movie Audio: Often, but not always, the dialog and music lags behind what you see on the screen.Range: The range is not 30 feet, even after a full charge, as advertised. So no leaving your device in another room when you shower and no walking around the house with your phone in your pocket.Battery Life: The charge does not last 24 hours as claimed. It lasts maybe 6-8 hours and speaker performance degrades sharply as the battery loses charge. In addition, the usb cable that came with the speaker does not connect well, and neither does any other usb cable. In order to get a connection so that the speaker can charge, I have to push and twist it just right and then either tape or rubber band it in place. It also takes many many hours to charge even when the battery is not dead.Perhaps I just got a bad unit but you can read similar reviews. I paid about $18 and feel ripped off and I would not buy this speaker again at any price. Buying this speaker is just rolling the dice to set your money on fire.

I received my bs100 a couple of days ago, and when I open the box I laughed because this thing is smaller than my IPhone 6. But you can judge it on its appearance. I immediately connected it to my phone via Bluetooth and was blown away. It's over twice as loud as my other small speakers that cost over twice as much. Good clear sound with very little distortion at full volume. It says that it is waterproof but I didn't get to try that out yet. It is however childproof. My 2yr old son will not let go of this thing, he has dropped it, fell on it(clumsy like his dad) and gotten god knows what all over it. And it still works! At 4am I stuck off to work with it, amazingly it lasted all day in the shop, battery life is better than my phone. We could actually hear this little speaker over all the beating and banging going on. So I give it 5 stars because for the price you aren't going to find anything that compares to it, and it puts a smile on my boys face to be able to carry around his own little sound system.
