Charles River ApparelMen's Crosswind Quarter Zip Sweatshirt (Regular & Big-Tall Sizes)

The sizing on this is just ridiculous. I'm 5'11" and ordered a medium thinking that would be reasonable. Apparently not. As you can see it covers halfway to my knees, the sleeves go completely past my hands, and I could probably fit an extra person in there with me. Absolutely terrible.

I like this enough to have ordered a second one. I usually buy sweatshirts in XL, because I like them loose, but I paid attention to the reviews and went with L for this one. It is as large or larger than most of my XL sweatshirts. My wife also bought one. She normally wears a M but a S was plenty large for her. I washed and dried mine once, and there was only slight shrinkage, if any. I see no problems with shedding. The pocket side placement is odd, compared to the front placement on hoodie shirts, but it’s fine.

Nice looking sweatshirt, true to the picture. However, worn over a white shirt and completely ruined the shirt with dark blue lint.

Super Soft & Comfortable. As the description points out..."sizing is generous". I'm 6'3" and 260 lbs.I usually wear 2XL sizes in tops. I don't like tight fitting clothes...they show my bulk!This brand is by far the most generous sizing I've ever experienced. Even the length is generous.No need for a "Tall" in this brand.For the record, I'm 76 years old and have tried most pullover brands over the years.This Charles River Pullover is the BEST.

Was a Christmas gift for my brother....who is a big guy...was worried that it was not going to fit at all....he is 6.5 ft tall and wears at least a 3x most of the time....but I think because it was a big and tall selection he said this fit well...I dont see him wear it often but he is a mechanic and he said that is because his wife said she wanted it saved as one of this good shirts...lol...so mostly he can only wear it when going with her. So I am thinking it fits good and looks good on him.

I ordered a medium and that's also a risk for me when buying new shirts or outwear as I have a longer torso than most and slim fit medium (not offered with this) is my ideal size.This medium seemed to be a little on the large size. I shrank it in the washing machine to better fit me and it worked. I would order again but I'd order a small. Hopefully this review is helpful to anyone out there questioning size.

I just received this sweatshirt 3 days ago and already is my husband's favorite. I bought a white one (Yes I am a brave wife) and he looks so smart and sexy wearing it with jeans..... I am going to purchase a couple of dark-colored ones too. I have NOT washed it yet and since it fits really well I am going to wash it in cold water... hang dry and maybe a couple of minutes in the dryer with a wet washcloth to fluff but not putting it in dryer to actually dry. I am not certain of course but think it could shrink and make him look a little like a sausage.Nice sweatshirt !

I work in the ER on nights, it does get chilly in here sometimes, well I slide this top on and all is well. Even if I do feel a little warm after while, the sleeves are easily pulled up and they stay put. I love the comfort and softness of this top. The Charles River brand has never disappointed me. The 1/4 zip is what makes it super easy to side on and off. I’m seriously thinking about getting a backup in this just in case. Great product! Highly recommend!!

This is my second of these, last one was the XXXL. I've lost nearly 4 stone so needed to downsize ;-) I'm 6' 3", 280lbs and the XXL fits great. Just looking forward to getting the next when I have to downsize again.....

I am 6 foot, 215lbs, athletic built. This sweater fits me just right. The length is a bit to long for my taste, but still does the job. You absolutely need to buy a size smaller - I always buy in Large but after looking at the reviews on here I decided to get the medium size, and even then it’s still a little to long for my taste. Fits perfectly around the chest and arms, but baggy around the waste. The pockets on the side are convenient but unnecessary - they seems to make my belly bigger than it is.Still, the quality of the fabric is up there with the most expensive brands. Perfect to wear at work in office, even with a tie on.

Nice sweaters, I got 4 in different colours. I am normally a medium, but got a small and it fit nicely. I'm 5'11 175lbs a bit on the skinny side so definitely go with a small if you're similar. I think an extra small would fit as well if you prefer a tight fit, but small is certainly not baggy on me.As others have said the side pockets do seem a bit strange. They will poke out and make it look like love handles a bit. Not too bad though. And others said they are pointless, true, because I couldn't see them holding a phone or anything else securely. I would say the purpose is more for a place to keep your hands warm and these pockets do that perfectly.Overall nice warm sweaters with a simple look and feels quality.

Decent product. Some say it fits large, I disagree. I ordered my size and it fit as my other clothes do. Only drawback I found were those crazy pockets. Yes, I know it was in the description, but I didn't read it thoroughly. They really don't serve much of a purpose as they aren't deep enough to be of any use but add extra material to the midsection which isn't always too flattering on a hefty guy like me. :) . Otherwise, I would have ordered a couple more in different colours.

I really like this sweater and wear it often. Two things that you should be aware of : it sheds on your shirt tons. The first time wore it over a white dress shirt it got covered with black fuzz from the sweater. I washed the sweater inside out which helped, but it took time to stop shedding. Secondly, piling stared which was easily fixed with a razor or little pole removing machine. Even worth all that I still thing its Great product and would buy another.
