Great improvement over the original.
These silicon tips are a great improvement over the original foam tips that were OEM with original headsets. My mother said these don't hurt the ears and are more comfortable for long periods of time. She also said she can hear much better at a lower level of volume adjustment. Very easy to put on and take off. Plus being silicon, they are washable and should last much longer.

No Quality
The buds become soft within a few minutes and come off the tv ears. The listening device itself is great. Must be designed to cause discomfort wearing them so VERY EXPENSIVE ear buds must be purchased to continue use.Purchase price is exorbitant for the product and if you have to pay for shipping , cost really out of this world!

More Comfortable
Compared to the foam ear tips that came with the original set, these silicone tips are very comfortable. I'm sorry I didn't try them sooner because I could have saved myself a lot of headaches. They appear to be a material that will last quite a while so, hopefully, they are worth the money.

TV Ears
My husband likes these because they cushion his headset so it doesn't hurt his ears. However they fall off all the time and he has to crazy glue them on. They are very expensive but worth it to us because the TV is no longer blasting so loud I can't even read a book. However please remember while your better half has this on, conversations stop because they can no longer hear you. Gets a little annoying... but then I am a talker and enjoy discussing what we are watching.

Silicone Ear Tips - Much Better!
I have three TV Ears headsets. The foam tips that came with these are very uncomfortable for me and would become detached sometimes. I needed replacement tips and hoped there was an alternative to the original. Then I found the silicone tips. They work so much better for me, so much more comfortable and have yet to become detached. I am very satisfied with these tips! Thanks!

Be careful if you buy these
I gave this one star because it would not allow me to use zero. I needed new batteries for my TV ears and decided to order silicone ear tips at the same to save on shipping. I did not need the ear tips at the time. When the tips arrived, I checked the package and it was clearly marked "TV Ears Silicone Ear Tips, 5 Pairs." Several months later when I opened the plastic packaging, I found foam ear tips, not silicone. I cannot use them, and because the exchange period has passed, I am stuck with them. An expensive lesson!

Disappointed
I purchase these tips from Amazon as a replacement for the foam tips that came with my Digital TV Ears. After a few days of use, the foam tips were actually quite comfortable, but unfortunately began falling apart after several months of use. The silicon ear tips (six pair) arrived promptly in a zip lock plastic bag stapled to the shipping invoice. There were no instructions. The tips were advertised on Amazon as "from TV Ears," but were shipped by a company named Liberty and packaged in a manner that made me think they were aftermarket. After connecting a set of silicon tips to my TV Ears they at first seemed comfortable. However, after about forty minutes the tips became so annoying (they hurt) I had to remove the headset to give my ears a rest. I'm not positive, but I think normal body heat causes the silicon tips to lose their firmness and sink deeper into the ear canal. I do know that after the headset has rested in the charger stand overnight, the tips are comfortable again. But after about forty minutes of wear, it feels like my head is in a vice. I never had this problem with the foam tips. I do not recommend this item.

Far Superior to the Short-Lived Foam Tips
I've been using the TV Ears for about 10 years. In that time, I've had to buy at least three packages of replacement foam tips. TV Ears users know they aren't cheap, and worse, they simply don't last. Moreover, they are difficult to install and if you fail, installation is much more difficult. It can be done, but it's never as easy as described on the back of the plastic ear tray. Never.Enter the silicon tips. Wow. Just wow. Same price, but after a few hours of use it looks like these will last a long, long time. Best of all? (I'm smiling here) There are ZERO installation problems. Here's how ... first, pry off the original (removable) ear cone -- the "snap adapter" -- (or the one with the tiny tip). Then simply slide the silicon tip over the end. Simple. No need to "place the plastic ear tip tray on a hard, flat surface" and HOPE that when you "push the tip on the snap adapter into the center of an ear tip until it snaps on" -- that it will actually seat properly and snap on. (I can't count how often that has failed.)Same price -- give 'em a try.No more replacement foam tips for me!
