Deadshot Shooting Rest with Front and Rear Rests, Water Resistant, for Range, Shooting, and Hunting

The Caldwell set of shooting rest bags is a pretty good set, and priced well. I have used the bags for rifle and handgun. The bags provide a good stable platform/rest from which to zero in your sights, or test some new ammunition loads, etc. The bags are filled with polishing media (I suspect it is corn cob media from the bit I've seen) - not sand. The bags are plenty heavy, but not horribly heavy (they would be if they were sand filled). The front bag is good sized, almost a cubic foot (give or take). The rear rest could be a tad larger, but works okay. Depending on your stock or other configuration, you might need to elevate it with something else. Stability is very good. The bag stays put and gives you a firm rest. The texture of the suede-like top provides a nice grip on the forestock of a rifle or the lower frame of a handgun. The two bags can be attached together via a plastic snap-hook and D-ring, which makes carrying them easier. This set is light enough and small enough to toss in the car when you visit the range, and it will do the job well. Can be easily refilled (or emptied) so you can adjust it to your preference. And if you remove some of the filling - use it in your tumbler! Nice product, very accurate shots on my AR15 at 50 yards. The rear bag is sorta small and works alright but really enjoy the big front bag. The product is filled with sand since everybody keeps asking. Pros: 1. It is so handy to carry around relatively lightweight gun supports rather than sandbags (literally) that weigh a ton (not literally). 2. These two "bags" fit nicely in my carryall case that also holds cleaning materials, bullets, shooting glasses, hearing protection, etc. 3. I use both units to shoot my rifle. I also use the larger unit to bench fire pistols. Con: 1. Obviously, they don't conform perfectly with every rifle stock/forearm dimension you run into ... so be prepared to plump them up or add a towel or other supplement to fit your particular firearm.

I can't say how long they will last pr if they will split open because I dont use them enough. I can say that they do the job. I only really use for zeroing. I also treat and store the right. Great bags for my needs

Perfect for sighting in or steady shooting rest Well made Would absolutely recommend or purchase again

Great price for the quality. Its size and weight is perfect. It keeps my rifle stable and provides comfortable shooting.

I regularly shoot air rifles and air pistols, and the most difficult part I find in getting a scope zeroed in. This bag gives me the perfect platform for doing just that. Generally, it takes me about 3 rounds the adjust the scope (I collect air guns and have a separate scope for each). Occasionally I change out scopes from one gun to another, and this provides a steady platform for quick adjustments. Although the bags come pre-filled, they can be easily emptied if, for some reason, you wanted to change the fill medium, but the bag works so well, I don't see why anyone would want to. The small "stock" bag works well for rifles, but since I shoot sir guns, I usually just use my fist to steady the rifle stock. I shoot in all types of weather, and I find that the heavy Codura nylon used to make the bag is highly water resistant, so in rain situations, I only need to shake off the wet or give the bag a quick wipe with a towel to dry it off. I think this is a great value and will surely stand up to the test of time. I've had and used it for about 8 months without any visible signs of wear. With free shipping through Amazon Prime, this is a value not to be passed up on. As always, shoot true and shoot safe.

These bags are great! If you’re looking for a solid shooting rest without breaking the bank these Caldwell bags are the way to go. They are filled very well, the material is very sturdy, with a nice soft material on the bag where your barrel rests. They work very well for multiple firearms, and they are a great size to be able to pack and take around with you if necessary.

Excellent shooting platforms. Because they come pre-filled, they are not pliable. Having a way to release ballast will be helpful. I am not shooting large bore, but my .223 stays in place.

Ottimo prodotto; una volta appoggiata la carabina sopra, sta ben solida. Perfetto

Alles bestens

expensive but worth it

微調整がやり易く安定性が良いと思います。

Fantástico. El rifle no se mueve nada, tiras de lujo.
