Great little kit for growing bean sprouts. I use it a lot. Cleaning tool was useless, but kind of expected it to be! Has been used many times and has not rusted. Drains well, you just have to remember to rinse the sprouts at least twice a day. The drainage tray is useful and easy to clean

Great product. So far I've sprouted beans and grains and it works perfectly. The grid is small enough to allow you to rinse amaranth (very small grain) while in the jar.I overfilled one jar with beans and the steel lid held up against the pressure of the sprouting very wellThe cover is also very handy

I took a chance and bought these to see if they were an improvement on a two tier plastic box style of sprouting kit. These have been easy to use and clean. The jackets are also really helpful when getting the sprouts to start growing. I do 2 jars at a time so I can get a constant flow of sprouts that are ready to eat whilst some are still in the growing phase. They've been a lot more successful than the plastic tier box I've got so won't bother using that anymore. To note- there are some kits that don't come with the jars and people have found it difficult to find the correct size of jar to go with the kit. This is much easier as the right jars are supplied so for the sake of a few pounds more, it was far simpler to get everything needed supplied so I could get started straight away.

I have used these repeatedly over last couple of months. No rusting or any other issues. Excellent product.You need to follow instructions with not overloading the jars and rinsing them twice a day and you will have wonderful fresh sprouts.For many comments that point out that you don't need the stands or the trays - you are right, but equally you can sprout in any old jar with a bit of muslin on top! However, if you want the convenience of having everything ready for you when you start sprouting, then this set is excellent and a great value for money.
