Love this salt box
Love this salt box, it's so unique and it keeps salt dry at all times. It's really easy to clean, sometimes I leave it by the stove and some grease will splatter and get on it but I just clean it off with a washcloth and a drop of dish soap then wipe it off. Perfect match if you hava a wooden or bamboo pepper mill.

Otherwise it seems to be a good buy.
Well made. Still getting used to opening the lid, mostly finding the location of the hinge pin. Will try marking the pin with a ink dot. Otherwise it seems to be a good buy.

Great for Tooth Powder, Virtually Hands-free Use
Product arrived promptly and in good condition. Very nice box, which I use for storing home made toothpowder. The way the lid closes is very nice when I am brushing my teeth. No worry about taking the lid on and off. It's pretty on the shelf too.

Floppy Top, Not Worth Its Salt
I bought one of these at a TJ Maxx for cheaper than I found it here and then decided I wanted another one to bring to work because people at work are terrible and keep stealing the g-d-m-f-ing salt shaker, and also decided I didn't want to leave my house to buy it, so I bought a different brand online. I thought it would be smaller than the other one due to me not being good at visualizing spacial relations, but I think it is accurately described in the product description. The point is though, that I spent less at a crappy store for a better salt box. This one has a jiggly lid connection that makes for an unsatisfying opening/closing experience. I can't decide if I'd rather use it and deal with it and be angry every time I pinch salt on my food at work to make my day better because I don't like my job and food needs a little salt sometimes and if you can't get any satisfaction at work you might as well be doing something more soul-sucking for more money, because it's not good quality, or if I should drive to the coast and throw it into the ocean where it can be beat to a pulp and then oblivion by powerful salty waves slamming it into the jagged, punishing rocks of death. Also the picture makes it look smooth and shiny of which it is neither compared to my sweet sweet TJ Maxx saltbox.
