First time review from first time dog owner
This is the best thing I have purchased for my dog so I felt compelled to write a review to share my experiences with it. Ever since I adopted my first dog (a chihuahua/terrier mix) earlier this year I have been in search of the "perfect" leash. These are the other leashes I have purchased:-Dean & Tyler Soft Touch Leather Dog Leash with Brown Padded Handle and Stainless Steel Snap Hook - 3 ft 1/2 inch width. Extremely comfortable, extremely expensive. The handle is made in a way that wrapping the leash around your hand is awkward and not natural.-Vedante Super Reflective 4-Foot Dog Leash (Gold) - My previous favorite. Very light-weight and definitely super reflective, but the reflective part is wrapped around a cardboard-like material which is already starting to come apart. Bending and folding this leash makes the fold permanent because of the material.-Petflect Reflective Dog Leash - Ridiculously heavy 3 inch clasp, not practical for smaller dogs.-Hope For Paws Eldad's Lucky Leash - Purchased in support of Hope for Paws.-Petco black rolled nylon leash - 6 ft 3/8 inch width. My go-to leash before I got the Easydog Vario 6 lite.-Petco red single ply nylon leash - 4 ft 3/8 inch width. Just your basic simple leash.-Coiled cable leash - Tethered this to office desk leg when I have my dog at work.-Small retractable Flexi leash - Way too bulky for me.All of those leashes now hang on my wall collecting dust since I purchased the Vario 6 lite. The Vario 6 lite is extremely versatile and can be used in whatever way you can come up with. I thought I would never use the hands-free setup, but find myself using that setup most of the time now. It is easy to hook up or remove the hands-free setup with one hand as well. One useful way it comes in handy is carrying grocery bags, by looping the leash through the bag handles to carry them all at once. If you have a dog that pulls or randomly cuts in front of you, then the hands-free setup isn't for you. You'll end up tangled up and your dog will be looking at you like "I'm trying to sniff this tree here, which way you going?!" There is a small loop at one end of the leash where you can string the leash through to shorten the leash or to use for two dogs. I never use that setup, but that loop is perfect to grip with my index finger at intersections. The plastic rings look like the same type used for ID tags on their collars. They're thick, deceptively strong, and silences the connection to the clasp instead of metal on metal rattling. I've had the leash caught in an elevator door and pulled it out with no damage to the rings. This leash has been through beach trips, washing machine, tethered to trees and fences, and dog bathes and holds up to everything with no fraying or damage so far. The reflective strip shines bright even when it is dirty.I purchased the EzyDog Standard Extension 24-inch to use with this leash and it has been the perfect setup. I get lots of comments at dog parks on what a cool leash it is!

Highly recommend
I love this leash. I was looking for a multifunctional leash, but many of them are designed for large breed dogs. The width of the leash would be too big, so would the snaps, etc. This lite version was perfect for my two 12 pound dogs. The leash is not too heavy and the extra loops that you can use to adjust the length are made of a sturdy plastic. This helps keep the weight down, but remain sturdy. I was worried it would be too short for hands free options with my two little dogs and my height (5'10ish"). However, I am able to use it hands free (strap going across my chest) without any trouble and they can still move freely by my side within a couple feet. Since I only use that option when I am at flea markets or something where I will use my hands for other things, I prefer them to be that close. You could potentially wrap it around your waist, but it is not adjustable. There are three loops that you can use to adjust the length. I remember reading a post about the snap at the end being too small for certain harnesses. I havent had that trouble, the snap is small yet big enough to fully close around my dogs metal loops on the harness. I would recommend. I have currently had these for a couple months, and will update if I have any problems.

The Best 6-in1 I've owned so far
I'm a dog trainer by profession, and I'm also a big fan of European-styled 6-in-1 leashes. They're great multi-taskers to have with you to help with a variety of little situations. This particular one is now my favorite. This was the first EzyDog product I'd ever purchased, so I really wanted to check out their quality. I am very pleased with this leash. It's now a permanent part of my mobile load-out. The construction is rugged, but still comfortable to hold and use. The D-Rings are plastic, but they're made out of that same ultra-dense resin that knife handles are. So far I've needed and successfully used all six configurations (plus a couple it probably wasn't intended for!). I've used this on dozens of different dogs already and I purchased both the regular and the lite versions. Really saved my hide a couple of times already when I needed a tether or my hands free. Do I recommend it? Well, I contacted the company and ordered more to sell to my clients. THAT'S who well I liked it.

Good sturdy leash...
I like it, Very functional leash. Although and over 6 foot and so I can not put it around my shoulder, but a functional leash that I could use a two very short leashes in a bid. This would be a good multi-purpose car leash. I had the lease for about a month so I will have to update about the wear and tear later. I will although the leash works as it should I was slightly underwhelmed, I just pictured it being like the maverick of leashes. But it is just a plane functional leash.

THE Best multi-use leash!
I bought two of these a few years back at TJ MAXX. My puppy chewed one leash leaving me with one. For indoor training hands free this is the best solution. Very lightweight, I put it on my shoulder and use it hands-free. Also great for quick walks. I wish more leashes were multi-functional as it just makes it great to use for training, walking, placing around your waist, using to keep her in her place while training. Looks like EZYdog tried to make a new version and this one is being discontinued, hence I went out and bought another one to have in the car just in case! I also have a leather multi-use leash but it's so heavy just not as convenient to use. PS my dog is a medium-sized aussie 38 lbs.

Great leash! You couldn’t find better!
We love this leash so much we bought it twice. This is a strong leash BUT my puppy is a chewer and he chewed the first one. No fault of EzyDog our dog chews through everything.I love the adaptability of around the waist or 4’ and 6’ length. I keep it at 4’ on the sidewalk then extend it to 6’ in a snap...literally, when we get to the park. The clasp for the harness is small but strong. Some are too big to fit the harness loop properly. This is the perfect leash!
