D-Mannose

I never leave reviews, but feel like I must. This product has saved my life. Before, I would get a UTI at least once a month. Doctors could never tell me why, just told me I needed to do all the things to prevent UTIs, which I was doing. It began to be condescending, like it was somehow my fault that this kept happening to me. I felt so defeated and absolutely miserable. I ordered this as a last ditch effort to try to get it under control. With much pessimism, I began taking the supplement every day for a month. In that time, I had no UTIs. I thought it was too good to be true, this was just a coincidence. Then, I began just taking it when around my triggers for a UTI, and it still worked wonderful with no UTI! When I start to get the irritation, I take 6 pills that day, and the symptoms go away on their own. I have not had a UTI in 4 months! This feels like an absolute miracle for me. I feel like I no longer live in fear of getting my next one. If you are on the fence and think you get them no matter what you take and there is no miracle pill, I thought the same thing. Yet, here I am, completely UTI free and in disbelief! You have nothing to lose and your life to gain!

This is the first review I have ever taken the time to write, but I believe in this product so much that I thought it was worth it. To say that using this has been life-changing for me would be a gross understatement. I have struggled with recurring bladder infections for years. I lost count long ago how many, but I have suffered at least 50, no exaggeration. I’ve seen specialists and undergone a litany of invasive procedures only to be told that “I’m just lucky” and there were no answers. I’ve been prescribed every antibiotic they have for UTI’s and built such a resistance that the usual Cipro and Septra do nothing except make it come back stronger, and I have to take stronger and longer doses of Nitrofurantoin, still with possibility of recurrence. Since doctors couldn’t offer me anything except more pharmaceuticals that could do more harm than good, I did my own research. I found lots of articles online about using D-Mannose supplements. I tried it a few years ago from a different company and it did nothing for me, so I gave it up. Once I again had another nasty bout more recently, I decided to give it another try and bought this product. This is singularly the only thing that has ever worked for me, and there are no side effects! It takes away any discomfort just as quickly as an antibiotic and actually cures it in a shorter period of time with no recurrence. The lack of side effects means I can take a few doses a day with lots of water at the first sign of infection without fear of harming myself. I think early detection is key, and at this point I’m very attuned to what’s happening with my body. I have already purchased a couple bottles as I have run out and I will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. I can not recommend this product enough. As far as I’m concerned, these are miracle pills. They have truly changed my life. Thank you!!!

Been using this product for a while to help prevent UTIs. I take 1 per night and seems to help! I haven't ever noticed any aftertaste or upset stomach. And the product always appears fresh, capsules are all full and intact.

Amazing works almost instantaneously

This has been a great help with my UTI's. I would get them multiple times per month, and this has helped in avoiding them and making the UTI's shorter. Caution: The use of D-mannose for UTI's is still in its early stages of research. Because of that, the side effects and potential risks are still not known. Most studies suggest taking 200mg. This product has 600mg and the makers suggest taking it 2x daily. I decided to only take D-mannose only when there is a present UTI, just to be safe. These pills help make the UTI much shorter than it would be by just taking vitamin C and cranberry extract. This product is not FDA tested. Most effective method (for me, it may be different for you!): Begin taking it when the early stages of a UTI present themselves. Take 1 capsule at first, take 2 if it becomes acute / you don't feel the results. Drink lots of water, since D-mannose will only coat your urinary tract when you urinate. Take vitamin C with it, since Vit C may help boost your immune system to fight the actual infection. Important to note: D-mannose only coats your urinary tract so that the bacteria doesn't attach itself to your tissue. This doesn't fight the infection, it only aids your body so that the infection doesn't get worse. D-mannose is thought to clear out of your urinary tract in a few hours. So even if you take the pills 2x daily, your urinary tract may not always be coated against the bacteria. D-mannose is most effective against E-coli, and may be less effective if the UTI is caused by a different bacteria. Always speak to your doctor before taking D-mannose! Like any other supplement, it may harm your kidneys and interact with other drugs. D-mannose has been a really great help in relieving my UTI's. 4/5 stars because it's not FDA tested and the product packaging is a bit lacking in terms of information.
