There are pretty dang cool, and very bright but most importantly they are addressable bars, so for your custom RC you can ditch the controller and and handle the lights using your own microcontroller and your WS281x library, I tested using Adafruit_NeoPixel NEO_GRB + NEO_KHZ800 and it worked. Running them in a custom RC tank, with 5v buck converter.

They are very bright and they are worked very well. I would recommend ordering them again.

Mounts are solid. Lined right up with holes already in my stock coyote bumpers. Light controller is so nice. Being able to change color/pattern right on the remote is so nice. Plenty of cable length and it comes with 2 extensions I didn't even need to use. They aren't very scale looking but I wasn't looking for something like that.

Best lights ever for an RC car or truck...setup on my buggy and has headlight tail light or police lights and many different patterns of other colors..will order more for the rest of the cars.super bright and clean looking .I used zipties for easy install but can use the brackets provided.

Very cool lighting system. Many choices of colors and patterns. Just be ready for a lot of clicking to toggle through all the different modes to select what you want but does have start up memory from last setting. I run them one forward and one rearward facing and typically have white light shining forward and red in the back as my schedule usually affords me night time driving. Just like all RC light bars they may be ridiculously bright but do not throw light very far. Would need optics over the leds and would probably put them above what most of us are willing to pay. Wish they were mounted in some type of aluminum enclosure or something to protect plexiglass and for authentic scale look but otherwise they are great lights.

Was so excited to get these into my crawler. The Axial SCX10iii Coyote rear mount can be drilled with 2mm bit to accept the 2.5mm screws. Front is easiest zip tied to rail. You'll need a radio and receiver with open or configurable auxiliary channel to change the light patterns. Love em so far.

Great bang for the buck work well, good price

Pluged these lights in as directed but the included instruction and then powered up my rc to test the lights....... My Esc then started smoking and poped i quickley unpluged them and they were super hot at the leds.i had these pluged into a basic hobbywing 1080 esc and voltage out was at the same as run my other lights and light bars and winch.ive been in the hoddy 20+ yrs. Never had an led kit blow up my esc until now. 1 star because they showed.... up only to ruin my rc truck.get anything else besides these.

Got these to put on my 1/10 and 1/8 RC cars and they work wonders. drilled a few holes in the front and rear bumpers and they attach very well. It's a pain to cycle through all the functions to find the one you want, but worth it for the result. also paired it with the LED strip version of this for underglow and it lit from all sides. FULLY SICK MATE.
