ALCOHOL-based ink marker
It's in the Product Description, but given that the carrier medium (oil, water, or alcohol) is so important, I decided to emphasize that point. That being said, it's a fairly large marker, seems to be pretty sturdy, has tightly-fitting caps which are still not all that difficult to remove and replace. The "pointy" cap has a little "nub" on one side to keep the marker from rolling off of the work surface when it's not in use. The color is good.I got this for a specific project requiring alcohol-based colorants, and it works really well for that.

Came broken
I bought this marker for my daughter because she loves Winsor & Newton markers and she needs brown colors. When we opened the pkg and took the lid off, the marker was broke. It also doesn’t say Winsor & Newton like all of her other new markers. This item is of course non-refundable. That’s what I get for being an idiot and buying a marker from a third party seller on Amazon.

This is the one you are looking for.
Great Marker. Used for Shading. This Marker does have heavy saturation so it will bleed through thinner pages if you are not careful.

Completely wrong markers
We were trying to get a specific marker and the picture shows the one we needed but what we got was completely wrong and different, it doesn’t even have the same name on it.

Great alternative to Alta
This is a great alternative for Alta. Alta is colored ink used to color patterns on palms and feet of Indian classical ballet dancers.
