Q: what is the difference between an h-300 filter and a h 1200 filter?

H-300 filter basically is for taste & oder removal with some light chemical removal. The Two stage H1200 filter removes most heavy chemicals from the water as well as taking care of taste and oder. I have used both the H-300 and H-1200 in different circumstances for at least twenty years. Not as good as Reverse Osmosis systems, but found to be very satisfied with H-1200 which I currently use.

Q: Why has the cost gone up alomst 250% in just a few months?

I paid $166 for H-1200 No. 1 and 2 replacement cartridges on May 22, 2022, from this same link and source (Amazon Choice/Everpure Store.) Now the price is $350 for the same replacement cartridges. I can replace the whole H-1200 system every two orders at this price. Not an affordable product when cartridges have to be replaced each year. I guess i'll just have to replace the whole system with a more reliable company and source. I don't recommend a product that more than doubles in cost in one year. Maybe that's why there are so many Pentair/Everpure systems? Make a new one every few years and then double the cost of the older replacement cartridges?

Yes this is the Cartridge #1 & #2 set for the H1200.

Q: My current system is Everpure H-1200 (EV3112-65B). Will these cartridges fit even though #'s are different?

I have only used filters labeled H-1200 on the canister or EV9282-00. I am not familiar with EV3112-65B. The Everpure website says that the EV3112 is an E-series filter but I don't know what that means. I'm sorry to not be more helpful.
