Although this timing light works fine, it has a dim light and it's hard to see in bright light.

Hit or miss
Yeah well seems like a 4/5 times it works but for me it fell short. Was able to find out what my cars ignition timing was only because when it was working somewhat it would show maybe 2 flashes worth of where the timing mark was and then it would disappear all while the flashes continued. Btw the light is very dim. When i tried to adjust my ignition timing to 10deg before top dead center, two things would happen. One, sometimes the light cut out completely. Wouldn't even pickup #1 spark wire signal. Then if it did, the timing mark was just gone. I had to wait for the marks to show up when it was closer to 0deg and then guess if it was at 10 or who knows. At least my car runs better now but what a disappointment.

Doesn't work on my dodge 360 LA
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Doesn't work for timing my 1973 dodge 360. Only got a flash off the coil wire one time. No flash any other time or on any plug wire. Waited to long to test and now it is to late to return. UPDATE: the seller reached out to me for a replacement or a credit back. Stellar customer service. I choose a replacement. Unfortunately I tested it on my 1974 dodge 360, still no flash. I tested on a 1990 Honda r22 and got a flash but the light was not very bright. Being outside it didn't work well for me. Probably better in a garage. Raising to 3 stars for customer service and workability.
