Universal Audio Volt 2 USB Audio Interface

Feels super solid, sound is great, simple inputs, great for a new person like me. I have nothing to compare it to and I’m not an audiophile or engineer, but if you care about quality items and you don’t know where to turn, I can assure you that this is a good choice.

The quality of the audio signal, both in and out, is so warm and clear. Crazy how such a powerful tool can be so affordable

Got it as an alternative to an amp since I live in a big apartment complex and play mainly during the night since I get off work around midnight normally, and it does the job well. The DAW that you can get from UA is also really good for recording instruments and vocals and they give you a good amount of free plug-ins that you can use with it, including effects pedals as well. Definitely worth the price if you're looking for something that wont annoy your neighbors or want to start recording yourself

Very easy to use. Low latency and well built. Runs off USB power without any additional adapter. Comes with a ton of free software and plugins, although they take a bit of time to set up. The sound quality is excellent and I really enjoy the "vintage" tone button. Highly recommended for anyone trying to get analog audio into your computer. I'm so glad I bought it!

For the price you get great audio quality, which is always my main decision when purchasing a unit such as this. A solid build and can be bus powered thru the usb-c port. Very compact and makes a good portable addition when used with a laptop with USB-C ports that can supply power. Not sure I would ever use the midi ports on the back as I use usb midi keyboard etc. There are a few quirks that gives my rating a 4 star instead of 5. The main one being the unit is fairly sensitive to input gain and is somewhat difficult to set properly with only two LEDs to set the level. The other is how the direct monitoring works vs audio coming from the computer. You can not adjust or balance the level between the two with this unit when recording and using the direct monitoring functions. When recording while playing previous recorded tracks you will need to adjust the playback from the computer using your DAW software if using the direct monitoring functions. Not a huge deal but one I think UA should correct in the future. It would be better to ditch the midi ports and add a better input LED display and add some method of balancing the playback from the DAW vs the direct input signal coming from a mic or instrument. I have not tried the Vintage function but assume it works as stated by UA. All in all a good purchase vs the competition.

Absolutely one of the best interfaces I’ve used, the mixing is great, the vocals sound even better.

First interface I have gotten. I am old and like tracking on physical media. This is a great unit. Works with Logic Pro on a Mac M2 really well. My friend has the apollo 2 channel and he said these preamps sound as good as the more expensive unit. Love the design, ease of setup and use, and features. Really functional and reasonable price.

Fonctionne parfaitement sur macOS (MacBook Pro M1 Pro). Pas de drivers à installer, plug and play et le truc sympa c'est le bouton on/off qui permet de le laisser toujours connecter à l'ordinateur sans qu'il consomme pour rien du courant. En terme de fonctionnement, je l'utilise pour écouter de la musique sur des enceintes de monitoring ou au casque : aucun craquement, son propre et chaleureux. Utilisé sur Ableton Live et Logic Pro ainsi que via VLC, Foobar pour l'écoute de musiques et de films.

Lo tengo desde hace dos meses y es perfecto para home studio y te sobra, trae el ableton live 11 lite que no uso porq utilizo fl studio pero ahi esta, y varios plugins top mas. Para mi es mejor que la scarlett aunque ya depende de cada uno

Ljudet och funktionen är fantastisk bra och enkel. Men... Efter jag registrerat produkten och installerat allt så kan jag inte starta appen längre. Gick första gången. Har läst och försökt men det går inte. Säkert jag som gjort fel. Fungerar klockrent med Ableton och andra program men kan som sagt inte starta deras app för att köpa mm. Funktionen är grymt enkel. Bra kvalité både i känsla och användande men att jag inte får ordning på appen drar ner min känsla från 5 till 4. Jag skall inte ge upp och andra fixar det säkert bättre än jag men det är min känsla just nu. Plus Mycket för pengarna Grymt ljud Enkel att använda Går snabbt att komma igång Bra kvalitet Minus Att jag inte får ordning på appen, men är förmodligen bara okunskap. Jag är grymt nöjd med produkten övrigt. Det bara funkar och den levererar.
