Anchor Hocking Anniston Drinking Glasses Set 16 Piece Set (8 Rocks Glasses & 8 Tumbler Glasses)

The Anchor Hocking Manchester pattern has always been one of my favorite glassware patterns. I used them in the executive kitchen at the company I retired from. I recently found a set of four for my husband to use in the downstairs family room bar. After getting them, I decided I wanted a set to use as our everyday glasses. I found this set of 8 16-oz. tumblers and 8 10.5-oz. rocks glasses. The glass is thick and the base is solid and sturdy. I love the shape and design. The pattern gives them a secure feel in your hand. The rocks glasses are perfect bourbon glasses but also make a great juice glass. They're dishwasher safe but also easy to hand wash because the inside of the glasses are straight. I was very happy to find these at what I considered a very reasonable price. This pattern is becoming more difficult to find and some sets I looked at were quite expensive. I highly recommend.

I received these just the other day and writing this review on 3/10/2025. I have to say these are quality glasses. The thickness is approx 3mm around rim, so they are not thin and chintzy. lol, to write this review I even went to the extent to see how much the tall glass weighed, and it weighs in at approx 1lb 5.2oz! Now it may be heavy for some, but me thinking always towards the future, we all need some sort of resistance training lol, especially if getting older 😉haha! (technology has took away alot of our natural movements in life, sad) But, the set is well made, the pattern acts as a grip of sorts too, attractive looking, and not going to break if you look at them wrong lol. They sit on flat surfaces fine, no wobble. The only thing I would like different is if the pattern was actually diamond cut to get some sparkle out of it. But that is me being clearly picky 😬😅 Also, on the bottom it is concaved so when in dishwasher you will have water left in that void. Not a big deal. Overall I love the glasses, love the durability of this set, and I would say this is a must have if you like quality things. I did not have a problem with the shipper and they all arrived in one piece. If they didnt I definitely would not blame the manufacturer. and now a toast,... (clink) 🥂 Thank you! Ms B.

Love that anchor hocking is made in US. I like that these are flat on the bottom. Have been durable. My adult Son liked the shape so well I bought him a set and had them shipped right to his house.

These were very pretty, the design and the quality of glass. However, 3 of the glasses from my set came with cracks or large scratches. I really wanted to keep them because of how nice they are but I didnt want to deal with having to return them and waiting to be sent a replacent set.

Would truly give these 4.5 stars, but rounded up. These are lightweight and a nice shade of blue, true to the listing pictures but perhaps a bit brighter. A couple glasses have small imperfections, but given how many are included in the set, not really an issue to me. Smaller size is fairly large, and holds about a full 12 oz can-without ice. The larger ones easily accommodate a big 16 oz beer. The pebble effect is definitely on the inside despite another review claiming otherwise. That was a minor disappointment.

Beautiful glasses for home use. There are imperfections in most of the pieces but this is expected in budget glassware. The important notes are as follows: 1. no scratches from mishandling at factory 2. No sharp edges on rims (all rims are very comfortable for use) 3. No seams from manufacturing (these are tacky as heck and usually make holding glass uncomfortable) 4. Great packaging for shipping 5. USA made (better for planet and better for us!)

Excellent glasses! Great size and have a slightly heavy bottom which is exactly what I was looking for. They do not knock over easily and still look great after using them for about a year.

For the most part I'm very happy with these glasses. They are sturdy and feel great when you hold them. You cannot stack the taller ones inside the short ones, which isn't great for small spaces but fine for us. We did get one deformed glass. It was cracked on the rim and a round bottom that makes it wobble. Bummed I don't have a complete set

I love the glasses, the only problem was one of glasses came cracked and I need to return to whole box to get delivery another one.

I love these glasses! They don't feel dainty or cheap, and have a nice weight to them.
