Anchor Hocking Anniston Drinking Glasses Set 16 Piece Set (8 Rocks Glasses & 8 Tumbler Glasses)

I received these just the other day and writing this review on 3/10/2025.I have to say these are quality glasses. The thickness is approx 3mm around rim, so they are not thin and chintzy. lol, to write this review I even went to the extent to see how much the tall glass weighed, and it weighs in at approx1lb 5.2oz! Now it may be heavy for some, but me thinking always towards the future, we all need some sort of resistance training lol, especially if getting older 😉haha! (technology has took away alot of our natural movements in life, sad)But, the set is well made, the pattern acts as a grip of sorts too, attractive looking, and not going to break if you look at them wrong lol. They sit on flat surfaces fine, no wobble.The only thing I would like different is if the pattern was actually diamond cut to get some sparkle out of it. But that is me being clearly picky 😬😅Also, on the bottom it is concaved so when in dishwasher you will have water left in that void. Not a big deal.Overall I love the glasses, love the durability of this set, and I would say this is a must have if you like quality things.I did not have a problem with the shipper and they all arrived in one piece. We recieved a set like this 20 years ago for a wedding gift. We've tried several different sets through the years but finally came back to these. I asked for these for a Christmas gift. They're sturdy, easy to clean and look nice too.

Anchor Hocking glassware is beautiful and sturdy. One glass was received broken, it had to be packed with the broken glass because there wasn’t any glass fragments in the box.

I purchased these as additions to the set I already have and are priced reasonably. I love these because they are heavy glass and not prone to breakage. And they are pretty. I highly recommend.

1 cup was cracked during shipping, some weren’t shaped correctly but still does the job as a cup, all cleaned fine in the dishwasher, probably wouldn’t be a great gift due to quality control but worth the price for how many cups you get and the ones that are shaped correctly look nice.
