But not quite sturdy enough to pull all my hair up. So close, so I think it would work for most people. I'm 70 and still have thick hair; wore banana combs a lot when I was younger but nothing I've tried recently holds together. At least I can get this on before it pops off. Perfect size but needs to be slightly stronger.

I am so glad banana clips are available again. Great alternative to a ponytail and more flattering for curly hair.

I bought 2 six inch clips, one green and one gray. I used to wear these many years ago and was excited to find them again. I have always had long hair and love the way they accentuate a pony tail compared to a regular pony tail. They do not hold as well as the ones I have had in years past. And they are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for what they are. Certainly not worth $12. Not sure if I will keep both of them.

I think this is a great hair clip, but it was very expensive. I bought it because it is so hard to find a hair clip that is around 7 inches in length.

It was very pretty and I was excited to get it. I pulled my hair back and clipped it. It slid right out.

I am unable to use the clip because it slips out of my hair. I guess my hair is probably not think enough. I think it would work best on really thick long hair. I love the way it looks though! I will try it again when my hair grows out some more.

I have a lot of curly hair and have been trying to find a banana type clip that will hold it all - the 5" size does not do it for me, it won't close with all my hair pulled back into it. The clip is great quality, much better than others I've seen. I will try the 6" size and hope that works for my hair.

It’s way too small for thick hair I think it’s great for thin hair … maybe short hair but I doubt thick hair all together. Looking at the size it looks like it’s missing an inch. I still tried yknow. I lost it. Like at the bottom of my scalp I lost it. I couldn’t not drag it up, close it and I’m not surprised. I liked this design because of the notch at the top seem to be smart for securing. I even paused this comment rn and tried tying my hair with a hair tie first to keep it in one place and drag. Couldn’t drag… couldn’t close it so the product is no use for me. Yea.. those comments saying ✨ better for thick hair.. i think it applies to one type of audience. I usually never write comments, but man this was such a fail for my hair type. And I hope it helps another brown girl trynna keep her hair up with no damage and mother shooing them away from the kitchen.I rated the product 3 but these comments are lies.But it may be my own issue. Lol I forget how the hair variety is forgotten. Is alright. No sweat. Maybe this inspire the company to make one for my hair type. But until now I did not think my hair was that different from 🖐🏼. This does not hold in fine, thin hair as described! I have below shoulder length hair and it just slips right out. I am not returning because we don't have a UPS drop off near us. I am very disappointed in this transaction😥

I give it a 3 start because although it arrived on time, it will not hold my hair for too long. I mean after about 30 min, I have to keep adjusting it. It might be that my hair is to heavy or sleek but it did not work as I was expecting. I mean I get the same hold from a $4.00 banana clip

This is by far my favorite hair clip design, and I haven’t been able to find it sold anywhere for a very long time. So excited when I found it here. Works wonderfully for long, thick, wavy hair, holds well without slipping and strain on the scalp. These clips are very well made, great quality plastic and a good tight hinge. They look similar to the evita peroni ones I have from more than 10 years ago (and still use). I received 2 pieces as described.

I do like the look. It feels comfortable while in my hair. It does not always stay in place. If you are exercising it can move a bit. I do like how it gets my hair off my neck while I am exercising.
