HONEST Review Absolutely the BEST antenna I used
I am in the Connecticut New England area and tried several antennas until I got the PERFECT results. This Televes DATBOSS paired with its amp was the absolute perfect antenna and fixed all pixilation issues. To start I made sure using the antenna point app to find the direction of NYC signal towers. I put it on the highest peak of my home outdoors with a 3 foot mast. This Televes antenna performed OUTSTANDING against all the Channel Master wineguard and Antenna direct ones. With this antenna i get Fox reliably now and have picked up CBS channel 3 and ABC 7 which no other antennas could get. The icing on the cake is the amp that actually balances all signals on every channel. This is deeply important as it doesn’t over blow up higher signals like most amps do in whole. Since I had this pointed at NYC it didn’t get the closer New Haven stations as well. So I also utilized my Channel Master Omni-directional antenna on the other side of my home and purchased Televes SmartKom amplified combiner. This allows me to utilize both antennas and balances both taking the best signal from each one. The results were above what I expected.I would highly recommend this antenna over all others. I tested out several and this one preformed exceptionally well. It is a little tricky to put together but with some patience you’ll be fine. If your towers are over 70-80 miles away it probably will not get them.. i would try their biggest one then. Also what matters is a decent line of sight and actually getting this outside pointed in the right location.

Works for me!! Much better signal on a high VHF channel
This antenna is great. I live 9 miles from towers that blast out uhf signals and can be picked so with a coat hanger. In the same direction the local ABC affiliate broadcasts from a tower that’s 28 miles in the high vhf band. I also have cell towers nearby. I have never been able to get a reliable signal on RF Channel 10. I tried amplifiers but made the UHF signals too strong and didn’t help on Channel 10.This unit isn’t cheap at $140 but the build quality is exceptional. It includes a preamp that’s on the antenna itself and a remote power supply with two outputs and can be mounted at the far end of your coax run. I used one output to feed my Firetv recast and the other to feed my distribution amplifier.I had an existing antenna in the attic which was five or so years old. As soon as I changed to this unit my signal strength and signal quality jumped up. (See pictures above).

It's huge but pretty easily assembled.
The media could not be loaded. This antenna is huge. Be prepared for how large it is, but it seems to do a pretty good job. Not significantly better than the other ones that I've tried, but better than most. Instructions for straightforward and all the tools you need are in the box.

Over the air antenna
Works great receiving all channels but 6 ABC , being on the low ban antenna not designed for that. Picture is clear and preamp and power amp really help with the clear reception. I'm 42 miles from towers and I'm in a heavily wooded area, didn't think it would work well.

Gained inaccessible channels
House is in the woods and the major TV station broadcasts are approximately 36 miles away. With one of those cheaper "HDTV antennas", only the very strong channels were picked up, even with an amplifier. Antenna is in the attic due to lack of ladders to get up higher. When I received this unit, I used a compass app to point it in the center of a 2 degree spread where most of the channels are. Still in the attic. Even with the included amp connected by the TV (no power in attic), this picked up more channels and more importantly, picked up channels that were previously inaccessible. And normally pixelated channels come in loud and clear.Looking forward to years of tv watching.

Very good antenna
You get what you pay for! I went thru several of the cheapo junk “100 mile radius” antennas before buying this one and I couldn’t be happier. Got 9 channels consistently with junk antenna, 13 max. As soon as put this one up I picked up 21 channels without tuning it. Very sturdy, has done well in very windy conditions and signal doesn’t fade. Bought this one after checking out some videos of the antenna guy which we’re very informative and recommend to check it out before you make a purchase. Assembly was a breeze, even comes with a little wrench. Highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a nice antenna!

Well built and design
Great antenna for rual area's. I have lots of hills and trees blocking my reception. I tried a cheaper one that didn't receive any strong signals. The stations kept cutting out. I bought this one just before football season started. I put it up on the same metal post the other one was and pointed it in the direction I thought would be the best. Came inside turned on the TV and scanned the channels. The other one locked into 12. This one locked into 42. Haven't lost reception since. AMAZING 👏.

Meets my needs
Installed in the attic, approximately 20 feet off ground level. 30 miles to towers with a small mountain in between. 50-foot cable to wiring closet and amplifier. 60+ foot cable to TV. 87 available channels. Most channels are strong with great picture and sound. A few have pixelation and drift in and out. A reorientation of the antenna may solve the problem, but they are channels of no interest to me, so I'll let it be. All in all, a great product and one I would not hesitate to recommend for homes similar to mine in like locations.

Perfect for GTA area!
Good signal quality for CTV (high VHF) and all the UHF available channels in the Greater Toronto Area (I can get 48 channels). Its not too directional so can pull both signals from Buffalo and CN tower with adjusting the direction somewhere in between! Build quality is amazing. Very happy with my purchase.
