BIC Acoustech PL-300 goes all the way down to 15 Hz with the port plug plugged in the center port. I tested with SPL meter and was pleasantly surprised with its low frequency handling. 15 Hz to 20 Hz range, which most subwoofers don't handle, comes in very handy for earthquake kind of sound effects that should be felt rather heard. 30% volume is good enough to shake the home theater without being boomy. While it can handle music too I highly recommended it for home theater usage!

This is one hell of a subwoofer.

I bought this one from 'Rich sound' (Amazon seller) from my business account (hence, no *verified purchase*). The packing was good and sturdy; the seller used a lot of bubble wrap to prevent any damage while shipping. The sub was delievered in perfect condition within 6 days of ordering. The seller is from Mumbai and my location is Delhi, so 6 days is somewhat justifiable I guess, though Amazon has made us a bit impatient with faster deliveries.Now coming to the product at hand, Bic America Pl-300, it's just an amazing sub. I have been using pl-200 ii for 2 years (on the left) and recently thought of buying another one, when I saw Bic America has launched an upgraded version. For me it was a no brainer to get this one as even the pl-200 ii is an exceptional subwoofer and delivers unmatched bass in its price range.Pl-300 is no different; it has the ability to shake everything in the room. The lower frequencies sound amazing, one can easily feel it in the chest and the highs are punchy just like they should be. Whether you listen to music or watch movies, one thing is certain, it will elevate your experience beyond your expectations. Rest assured, you are never going to need to turn the volume of your AVR more than 60% as even at that level the bass is just too much to handle.All in all it is a very good sub, and a must buy if you are bass lover, especially for the price (₹56k) it is being offered. Because for this price range, it is next to impossible to find a better sub than this (or a similar sounding sub for that matter) anywhere in India.
