Do the job nicely.
Excellent wick. A little thick for lanyard, so better to thread it in the ring. Overall great value.

They work great even without an emergency
Haven't had to use in an emergency situation yet but they're great zipper pull additions. I put them on my hunting paccks and work great.

Excellent emergency fire starter
This is my fourth order of Exotac TinderZip and I put them on everything with a zipper. Bright orange is easy to see and I like the contrast against the dark green bag I put them on. They light very well and burn long enough to really start a fire. My order shipped right away and even arrived earlier than expected. Thank you!

Cute!
Gotta admit, I doubt I will EVER use these in my life but I LOVE the idea. I’ve seen people use them as tinder before but it’s not like amazing tinder, this is a serious SHTF, down on my d**k, no other options kind of “well I guess I have them so might as well use them” type of thing. Mainly a gimmick, but I REALLY like the color of the orange ones, plus the orange ones do have reflective material in them which I love. Moral of the story: they’re cool but probably useless. Really cute though.

Cool fire tinder back-up
These work very well as zipper pulls and light up pretty easily. As long as you consider this a back-up and realize you will only get one fire from each, with proper tinder prepared before hand. My only knock is that once you use it, the zipper pull is useless. It would be a cool idea in the future to make it so you could extract the fire tinder and use it, then re-attach the zipper pull (unless there is a way to do this that I don't know).

Never worry about tinder again
These tinder pulls are great. Attach them to your bug out bag as a back up fire tinder. Attach them to your favorite cold weather hiking jacket or attach them to your favorite edc coat. Whatever or wherever you attach them, you will have a quick and easy fire tinder literally at your finger tips. My only complaint is they are kinda pricey for how many you get in a pack.

Received Different Color Than Ordered
Seemingly everything Exotac makes is quality, especially the RipSpool. This product is no different- simple, functional, and "just in case." (My next comment has nothing to do with Exotac, as far as I know.) I ordered the black zipper pulls and received the orange zipper pulls. It's not a terribly huge deal, but is worth noting.
