CSTCiudad RS Kevlar Tire, 26 x 1.5-Inch

Great tires for a great price. Bought these in June, as soon as I switched the tires I noticed a big difference. Makes for a much smoother ride especially for the city. Living in a town full of morons breaking glass in the street, that and nails, have not penetrated the tires yet. They are going strong

really good product; also inexpensive; fits a standard 26" bike rim and makes it like a street bike.does not hold as much PSI as a pro tire but still twice as much as a standard MTB tire; so it increased my rolling speed.The reflector material on the rim of the tire is really noticeable in the dark.

These tires are nice but a bit heavier than I expected. Of course, speed takes the bike seat for stability with increased confidence riding long distances with puncture resistant Kevlar. I will enjoy these. No flats yet; about two weeks in! Keep spinning.

I needed some thing to make my mountain bike more comfortable on city streets. These fit my needs perfectly.

These are really durable tires

Tires arrived as expected. Have a reflective bead around exterior. I use other kevlar belted tires (Primo) that run at 95psi; these are also kevlar belted and run at 65psi. Not sure yet how lower pressure will affect handling and speed. I used Kenda thorn resistant tubes with these and as expected, tire/tube combo is about twice as heavy as a normal tire/tube setup. but I'd rather have a little more weight and less worry about punctures on the road. But the price was right.

Got several flats with this with in a matter of weeks. Switched to the more expensive Continental SuperSport Plus Urban Bicycle Tire (700x25) and won't come back to the Ciudads except for maybe in the winter for better traction.

I have run this Ciudad for a few days and it looks and performs fine. Tires in the 26x1.5 size are a little difficult to mount and dismount so make sure that you have tire levers.The tire is directional, though not marked a such, so figure that out. I have used it only on dry pavement but direction is important on wet pavement, an occasional hazard here.I ordered one as a replacement rear tire. I will be ordering another to be ready to replace the front tire.JimUpdate September 23, 2015I ordered and received a second one. For those interested in packaging, the first one came in an oversized pizza box and the second one came folded and wrapped with tape in a Tyvek envelope. Samo-samo for my purposes.Jim
