It has a lot of ton of adjustability, is long enough to bridge my sink, but sturdy enough that I don't feel a lot of flex when sharpening. Holds my stone securely, and didn't budge, even when sharpening a bigger blade like a chinese cleaver. I appreciate the locking bolts having a plastic knob rather than the metal wing nuts on other brands. Since it seems to just hold in place via tension/friction how it holds up long term is an open question, but as this would only get occasional use I'm hoping it'll hold up.
