A Fly with A Propeller - Odd, but Extremely Effective
I was skeptical, but this fly (lure?) worked spectacularly for me. I fished it using a casting float (or bubble as some call it) in high alpine lakes. Normally I use standard flies or nymphs with good results, but on a recent trip I couldn't get a bite. So, I tied on one of these - and in about 90 minutes caught seven fish. It became my "go-to" for the rest of the trip. It was very effective for rainbow and brook trout. From time to time I'd switch to another fly or nymph - and then I'd switch back. I went through six of these over a four-day trip and only wish I'd brought more. A fly with a propeller is pretty bizarre, but for whatever reason it was effective. I just ordered ten more.

Solid gold!
Great bait for new waters that an angler has never visited before. Allows one to cast from shore with extensive brush cover where your fly rig cast would be nearly impossible. If you tie your own flies then a pack of these will give a good model for tying up a few.

Amazing!
I went out to a local creek and saw a man fly fishing (abnormal in where I am). He said he was practicing with no luck. I decided to throw this out on the fly rod and within 45 minutes I had caught 6 bass and blue gill. That's pretty good given the fact that I was letting my kids practice half that time. SUPER impressed.

Good quality. Works for a variety of freshwater fish.
These are some very well made and sturdy flies. They work on a variety of freshwater fish from trout to bass and panfish. The price for the 12 pack is just right. Although you can find them in some sporting goods stores for sale individually at about the same price.I typically use these with a spin cast rod & reel and a water bubble with about 6' to 8' of tippet.
