I used these to hide a wire going from the back of my entertainment center to my wall hung TV. Because your just cutting a hole in your wall installation is simple and it's really easy to snake aarge amount of cables up because the opening these create leaves a lot of room.The included faceplates and nylon bushings were good quality and added to the fit and finish.For those who hate visible cables these are a great way to run them behind your wall that doesn't require a professional to install.

As long as you are handy, these wall plates are easy to install. I used the bracket as a template to mark the outline of the opening and cut the hole. The bracket is sturdy and the brush and face plate attach firmly. The bristles in the brush opening are stiff enough that they effectively cover the cords so you don't see a large black hold in the wall. I like that the brush section is separate from the face plate so I could use my own face plate if I wanted to. It seems odd to me that there are 3 in a box since I would normally expect to use 2 - one entry point and one exit point. I bought 2 sets since I plan to mount 3 TVs. So it all works out.

Pretty straightforward to install, no template given so I traced the inner dimensions but had to cut out just abit more on the drywall. The prong in the back that stops the flappers that secure to the drywall was abit too long for my wall and it was hitting the exterior wall behind so I had to trim it down half an inch. Overall, great product for the price!

The camera mount was mounted into a stud and there was not enough room to run the wire in the pre-defined slot that is part of the mount. So I had to come out of the wall on the opposite side of the stud. This kept the camera were wanted but wires on the other side. This was a perfect solution to this issue. I have also used this when running wire behind a TV where the wires came down inside the wall.

Intuitive to install, there are 3 parts: black plate that presses against the wall and stays secure to the wall since you are not screwing into sheet rock. The genius in the design is that it allows the housing to mount via tabs on the top and bottom to the sheet rock acting as a vice. Then you screw the middle section to the housing and complete the assembly by attaching the face plate to it. Very nice!
