Is this a good knife to cut up old carpet with?  I have never purchased a utility knife before.

It comes with 5 Blades. We had considered this that people usually need extra blades and we packed this knife with 5 blades inside storage compartment of the knife itself. We had created the blades 3 times sharper and 3 times longer durable then any other regular blades. We don't think you will need more than 5 blades in this near future. But yes you can buy it from Amazon from next month. We will list the extra 10 pack blades by next month. Hope that's fine with you.
