Works as advertised, would recommend
Solid product that works as advertised when following the instructions. I've been a hobby modeler since I was a kid and have a decent amount of experience with waterslide decals. These are a quality product. The carrier film is thinner then some other craft brands I've tried, although not as thin as high quality commercial waterslide decals that come with most model kits. After clear coating to make the decals waterproof, they are probably a little too thick to be used on plastic models... but the upside is that they do not easily tear during placement. All that said, I didn't buy these for plastic model use. I got them to add some snazzy graphics to the Pinewood Derby car I was making with my son. For that use, where I'm not too worried about making the graphics seem as "painted on" as I would with a model build, these worked perfectly. They took the ink and clear coat with no issues. The white backing paper appears to be acceptably opaque. I put these on a bright yellow surface and I can only make out the very slightest amount of color bleed from below. I'm not sure how they would hold up over a black or very dark surface, but impressed with this first usage.NOTE: Just a reminder... almost all ink jet inks will dissolve in water. You must follow the directions and coat these with a waterproof clear coat before application.

White Inkjet Waterslide Decals a bust!
I bought both the clear and white inkjet water slide decals but had a major problem with the white decal. After applying 3 coats of ModPodge’s Clear Acrylic Sealer (with an hour wait between layers, plus 2 days of “curing”) the color starting washing away when I dropped it in the water and completely came off as I started to slide the decal off the backing. I did the same sealing procedure with the clear decal and it was fine. (My reason for giving a 3-star instead of a 1-star review).PLEASE BEWARE: I wrote to the manufacturer and was told that the ModPodge Clear Acrylic Sealer is NOT COMPATIBLE with their White inkjet decals.

Bad batch of White Water-slide Decal Material
I custom design and print 1/64 scale Decals using an Epson 9600 Inkjet printer at a resolution of 1440 dpi. from a 600 dpi Photoshop image.I chose this material after extensive research for its pliability on curved surfaces. After using and having no issues with a package of the Clear Material, I was anticipating the same results when ordering a package of the White Material.See the photo: The Star Circle of Blue is 5/16ths in sizeLeft side on Clear Material - Crisp and very detailed, dry to touch after 15 minutes.Right side on White Material - Puddling ink, very blurry, still wet after 2 days, smudges to the touch.- same art and output settings, one sheet right after the other.I printed another 4 random sheets with the same image on the White Material, all with the same results. In between those printing 4 sheets, other sheets of various gloss stock were output with no issues. Not happy at all with the White Material. ...and this puddling happens when there is insufficient or no Inkjet receptive coating on the surface.Possibly bad stock? How do I receive replacement or refund??

Work great but NEED a sealer
The print is perfect and the decal is not easy to get ripped. It will NOT work if you skip the sealing step bc the ink will bleed in just seconds submerged in water. I used the Mod Podge Matte, sprayed 3 layers 15 mins apart from each layer and the decal is perfectly sealed. Everything is easy after that.

They’re the best
I use them for tumblers and they’re perfect. I used the clear ones in another brand before and I hated that they wouldn’t separate from the back paper after being sinked in the water. These don’t need to be too much in water, I usually sprayed them twice or thrice with acrylic sealer, let them dry and they’re very flexible to move around the cup when placing them. I haven’t had any ripping or color fading. I will buy them again.
