Yes, and I recommend washing every time it is used so you don't spread germs from one baby to the next. My husband does the laundry...which means no special directions needed. I do use gentle detergent though.

I washed mine first, just to be on the safe side. The studio I used to work at washed theirs regularly. Easy to wash. I did gentle cycle, used baby laundry detergent, and drip dried. Didn't take long. Very happy with these wraps.
