Very Nice Gun
What a great gun! I read a few reviews before I bought this one, and if there is one thing I've learned about air gun owners is that they are remarkably picky, and no one seems to agree on anything! First off, this gun seems very well made. Certainly a bargain for the price. Good solid wood, well made and quality metal. I had to buy the .177 because in the city limits they consider anything above 0.18 a 'firearm' even if it isn't. The first few shots were a little off, but with some adjustment of the scope it fires very accurately with decent grouping. I've yet to play with the adjustable trigger. In fact really this is going to be a standby weapon for pest removal. We've had a pretty serious rabbit problem, and I don't foresee this having any trouble at all at that task. As others have noted the scope is garbage, but I'm okay with that. It works. And I'd rather the bulk of my investment go in the gun itself. I can always buy a better scope when I want to. I got the Quiet Edition and the gas vortex version. Cocking is fairly heavy, but no more than what I expected. And it's certainly quiet enough that if I have to take care of a rabbit, my neighbors will be none the wiser. I don't think there would be any 911 calls, "shots fired." I didn't use the regular sights much, but they look great. I'm sure that 'experts' could argue all day about alternative guns in this segment, as it seems there are a lot of choices around this price. But I have to say, a choice of spring or gas, quiet or not, and three calibers, all in this nicely made solid feeling gun, seems pretty awesome to me. With the addition of a nice scope, this seems to me like an excellent value for money. Time will tell how long it lasts, but at this price point, I'm happy to buy something else in a few years if this turns out to be a dud. So far though, very happy.

Performs well. Dependability questionable!
Liked gun. Unfortunately the power piston failed and decided to return it. Don’t know if it was just a lemon.

Good looking, quality and no disappointments.
Gun is beautiful! Accurate and loud. Adjustable triggers are for higher end break barrels. The rifle feels quality. The included scope is better than with most combos. It's a variable magnification of 3 - 9. Most are single. The open sights are also better than most. I am pleased! Note: Do not dry fire. This could be the reason for quality complaints. Scope has maintained zero thus far. Do a search on how to hold a break barrel when firing. They are unique when compared to other air / spring propulsion rifles.

I Have Confidence In this Rifle
Recently purchased the Hatsan – 95 Vortex in .177 caliber. I mounted a UTG 3-9 x 40 Varmint-Predator scope in place of the scope that came with the rifle. Using JSB Diabolo Exact pellets I shot this 5 shot, .75 inch group this morning preparing to re-zero the rifle. The hole in the center is the first shot from a cold barrel. Using it as my aim point the remaining 4 shots measure .5 inches. This is very acceptable accuracy for my purposes of trimming down the pigeons and rats that have multiplied in the last several months. The rifle is a real pleasure to shoot. It is solid, well balanced, attractive and the trigger pull, after taking up a minute amount of slack is crisp and clean. The finish, with the exception of the recoil pad, is excellent. The recoil pad, as others have pointed out, is a little proud but this is a nit-picking point. It functions well against the shoulder as a recoil pad should. At this time this rifle has 30 rounds through it, I suspect that accuracy will improve over the next 100 to 200 rounds. I love having confidence in my rifles, any shot placement that is incorrect is on me, not the equipment. I have great confidence in this rifle and scope combination. This was a great purchase.

Pretty nice rifle, sight & scope fall a little short
The rifle seems pretty solid. The “iron” sights are plastic and the adjustable rear sight is a little cheesy, but they are hi-vis fiber style so they’re easy to see. I just mounted the scope and rings, if you are used to using decent optic on a traditional rifle they leaves a lot to be desired, I can’t get the scope to focus both the cross hairs & target on the highest magnification. I would prefer a better set of iron sights and no scope. That being said I think there is still a lot of value in this rifle, seems pretty well made and plenty of power. I don’t think you could do much better unless you step up to a much more expensive brand or model. Will work fine for pest control and rifle practice for the kiddos.

Good value for the price
Spent a lot of time researching air rifles before I pulled the trigger on this one. Pros: It was shipped quickly and packaged well & discreetly. This is a quality air rifle. The stock is well crafted & beautiful. It is well machined & functions exquisitely. It took very few shots to sight in. After about 50 rounds it is still accurate. Cons: The included scope is at best “adequate”. But what you would expect for the price. Finally, be aware, this is a heavy rifle. A bipod would be a good investment here.

Poor longevity
Upon receiving the rifle it was a bit heavier and a bit louder than I had hoped for however it is a nice looking rifle. The scope was not very high quality and is not air rifle compatible. Without the scope it fire accurately once zero had been determined. The problem was that the vortex gas piston failed just outside of the one year warranty. I'm sure the seals failed which upon research is a common problem. Hatsan USA offered to sell me the gas piston under $70 or send it in and they would repair for $100. The trouble was that it was only $199. I would not recommend.

Beautiful, well made air rifle.
Rifle is quiet, powerful and well made. The packaging was terrible, received with packaging tape holding the box together and a scratch on the scope and several small dents in the beautiful wood stock. It is heavier but does a good job on sage rats out to 55 yards. I highly recommend this product.
