Good product has the power to do the job.
This tool works very well drills holes with impacting also can be used as a chipping hammer. I’ve used this on cement drills right into it no problem. I’ve used the chipping hammer to chip up old cement, rocks, etc. no problem. This is a tool. I wish I would’ve bought 10 years ago. I would recommend it.

Very impressed with this DEWALT rotary hammer. It has plenty of power and makes drilling into concrete much easier and faster. I really like the cordless design because I can use it anywhere without worrying about extension cords. It feels solid, well-built, and comfortable to handle. The battery life is also very good. Overall, it’s a great tool and I would definitely recommend it.

Durable, lightweight great for shallow trenching
bought this back in Oct. and I wish I would have bought it sooner! I use it to loosen the ground for my wife's plants and for trenching in Az. The ground is hard as rock and was using a pick axe with mixed results. I have also used it as a masonry block drill and works well for that too. light weight compared to rentals. has held up well very happy with Dewalt tools!

Comparable to Hilti and Milwaukee for a homeowner price!
Let me tell you something. I've used Hilti and Milwaukee at work all the time. I bought this for jobs around the house and I absolutely fell in love with it. It's powerful,balanced, and durable. Well worth it if you do concrete drilling around the house.

Wish I had one of these 20 years ago. You will need good Dewalt batteries with a higher amp hour rating for best results. You won’t be disappointed

Awesome tool, so much better then melting bits on an impact driver. This thing cuts through concrete so easily. It's changed how I pour concrete and install posts now.

Great power. Depth gauge is handy.
I wear yellow underwear so I'm biased but this is a great hammer drill. Perfect for lags or tap cons. Lots of power and it is light so one handed operation is possible. Very impressed. Better that my plug in from another manufacturer.
