Perfect for everything- LeCruset, Dansk, Non-stick, and Ceramic cookware
Love, love, love this spoon. Crazy to love a spoon, right? But, if you cook a lot, good tools are essential and this spoon is fabulous. It's a hard material, feels like hard plastic, dense bamboo, in the best way. There is no bending like the silicone covered metal ones that I got from Costco. It washes up great. It is a great size, not too big, not too small. It doesn't scratch my beloved Le Creuset, and Dansk, or my ceramic or non-stick cookware . I like it so much, I bought another for the RV - because now I can't live without it, it instantly became my favorite spoon. I also bought 1 for my sister, and 4 for my girlfriends for xmas - yeah I know, sounds cheap, but MY friends totally appreciate when I give them 'special' gifts like the best glass nail files or the best mascara or in this case the best cooking spoon EVER!

Great utensil
I bought my first one of these about 15 years ago. It was advertised at "stain-proof" and I do a lot of cooking with tomatoes. With my daughter moving away to college I was giving her my spoon and was glad I found these are still made :-)There was the slightest of staining after all those years - and I only noticed when the new spoon came. The spoon was still smooth and fully intact (more than I can say for my silicone spoons after just five years) - and important for all the garlic I use - still had no smell of any kind. I used it in the dishwasher all the time too. It's made from glass but looks and feels like super-hard plastic - but unlike plastic/nylon there are no bad chemicals, plus it has a much higher temperature usage range (similar to silicone). I haven't found any hard silicone - so this is my go-to spoon for everything from soup to mixing to canning.

Strong and Functional
I bought a couple of these as replacement for wooden spoons. This spoon has no problem dealing with stiff rye bread dough; that's strong enough for me. Also, it doesn't stain, even when I use it in dishes that have turmeric or tomatoes.

Can put in dishwasher.
Works like real wood but can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Safe to use on nonstick cookware. Still going strong.

Best mixing spoons available
Best mixing spoons ever. They don’t absorb moisture like wooden ones, and they don’t scratch metal or crack glass like metal spoons (use one to stir your French press coffee in the glass carafe!). Stronger than wood or plastic spoons - we’ve broken many wooden spoons, bent metal ones and melted plastic ones, but these spoons hold up year after year. We have had several of these for years (we like having extra ones for when they are being washed) and can highly recommend them.

Plastic-y, poorly made
Cheap, plastic-y, poorly finished. I am so unimpressed with this spoon, which was highly rated by Cook's Illustrated. The production lines are very evident, and there are two spots on the bowl of the spoon that are raised, sharp points. The finishing is extremely poor. I was expecting a wooden spoon but made out of a glass material.I just received this spoon so I don't know how it functions, Will write an updated review once used.

Disappointed with quality
I was underwhelmed by this. It received a great rating from America's Test Kitchen IIRC, but the tan plastic looks cheap. It's usable but I prefer my GIR silicone spoons

Great cooking utensil
I really like this spoon - it is safe for non-stick surfaces, gets easily into curved pot bottoms, and cleans up more easily than either a wooden or a silicone spoon. The only drawback I can see is that the handle does seem to get somewhat warm, which I have not experienced with either a silicone or wooden spoon. Other than that, it's great.

Buy it
Wish I had bought more than one. Non staining, doesn’t melt. Cleans well in dishwasher.
