I'm using the table to carry some recording equipment which is medium weight..a Zoom Livetrack digital desk, a small Art mic Pre amp and an SDrum along with a bunch of cabling. The table is stable enough when parallel to the length of the legs although you hace to be careful. When the table is transveres to the length of the legs it is very stable. If you are thinking along the lines of eg a jigsaw weight you should be fine. The table has a raised edge so nothing should fall off when tilted. The overall construction is good and solid with good quality securing fittings I am very impresseed with it and was very pleased with my choice in this table.
